Uefa Conference League

Perhaps that is the point?

Maybe he was given dispensation with the first club on the grounds that he would get the badge?
Could be! I’ve only heard Jason talk about it, he never mentions that and he genuinely doesn’t seem to know why either, but that could be his own bias.

If that is the case, then I would wonder why he hasn’t got his badge yet. Did he fail the course? A lot of questions, probably not going to find the answers 😂

Anyway, it sounds like he has potential to succeed at some level in management, so I hope he moves on from all of this, does at some point get the badges, and goes on to achieve great things as a manager somewhere.

I think most leagues these days require some form of coaching qualification which as you say begs the question why doesn’t Puncheon have one? I'm sure one of his old clubs would help with that.

I’m working it out as we speak. Seems that in the second division of Cyprus, a Pro Badge is not a requirement, which may be why Peyia and Akritas never sponsored him for one. He will have the ‘A’ Badge, the last one before the Pro Badge.

He had special dispensation at Zazakiou, but was only at the club for a month, so not long enough to gain a Pro Badge. The first time he really needed one was after he gained promotion with Akritas.

In England, the National League is the highest you can manage without a Pro Badge, but in other countries you can manage at a higher level without one.

Yes, he has plenty of old clubs who I’d’ve thought would be happy to sponsor him. He should think about getting in touch with Barnet, MK, Soton, or Blackpool. I wonder if we would even consider it, even though he’d be unlikely to work for us as a coach.

If you are an ex player desperate to get into management you don't have to work for a club (salary). He could volunteer at Palace whilst doing his badge at no cost to the club.

UEFA Conference League

The pundits confirmed it last week. WE are the biggest fish in this pond. By a country mile. And that pundit said we were "the team that everybody wants to avoid"........i would add that we are also the team "that everybody wants to beat"

i mean, why bother being in football if you do not relish a big challenge ?
Would our squad prefer to play PSG or Havant & Waterlooville ?

Of course the squad are up for it! They’ll be hungry to add another trophy to the ever growing cabinet… and their CVs.

Has anyone suggested they’re not fussed by it?

Depends if theres a trophy at stake. No one remembers/cares who you play in the final if you win.
