Good luck to all you guys planning to go
Early days, but the initial betting favourites, Fiorentina, have started Serie A with two points from four games
 
I see palace have the conference league patches in stock.

Does anyone know if they’ll be doing them in the fanzone tomorrow? I already got the shirt but want to retrospectively add the patch. Assume that is possible? Can anyone confirm please?

Think it would be very fitting to make it our best ever unequaled unbeaten club record with our first foray into european league phase football in an away game. Kyiv are regulars here though so It'll be a tough test, one of if not the toughest of our confirmed fixtures.

And if by some mischance it doesn't work out we've still got the league record. It's all good.

I noticed Larnaca did well last year. I thought Cypriot teams would be rubbish.

i notice they play the league leaders, Pathos, this weekend so that will be an interesting result.

They get crowds of c4k a game so must have the equivalent of a low div 1/ high div 2 budget.

Surely we should be too good for them

However, in June 2025, he was forced to resign as he did not have a UEFA Pro Licence, which is mandatory for all Cypriot First Division head coaches. He was unable to obtain special dispensation from the Cyprus Football Association, despite his previous experience managing in the top-flight with AEZ.

Yup, strange situation that was and really a blow for him. I understand requiring badges up to a point, but the fact he got dispensation for one side and not for another is the bit that doesn’t seem right.

It's quite an involved process too.
Hours:
It requires a minimum of 360 hours of education, combining off-pitch theoretical study with significant on-pitch practical work and study visits.

Independent Study:
A significant portion involves independent study and coach development visits to support your learning throughout the season.

Mind you looking at some of the bozos who've passed it...

Perhaps that is the point?

Maybe he was given dispensation with the first club on the grounds that he would get the badge?
