Unsung player, has had plenty of detractors on here, but, slowly but surely(no, i won't call you Shirley), people are coming round to him. Now, apparently he's been carrying an Achilles injury . . .

Calf/Shin/Heel Injury

Apr 25: 'He felt his Achilles. It's not just today; it's an ongoing issue he has. Our medical department is treating it very well. Today he said that he couldn't continue.'

I like the lad a lot. He plays a solid game with timely challenges and is getting more confident about his ability to run the line and pass into the box.

Makes no fuss, no drama, no hysterics, just unassumingly gets on with his job. Sorry to learn about his Achilles and hope he's able to play through it till the end of season when he can get it properly sorted.

Certainly deserves an international opportunity.
