Really like the fact we're being strongly linked with him. At 19, I can see him coming to us for a couple of seasons before moving on to a bigger club. Only issue is whether we can afford him.

Yes they want silly money but they won't get it. They were relegated so are going to make some financial decisions which will be hard. He needs to play to develop so I wonder if a deal can be done around this. He comes to us on loan with right to buy at agreed price. They have a sell on clause and right to buy back if promoted in next 2 years .

That quality first touch and the ball seemed to be under control as he moved across the turf. The only concern is he seems to have gone backwards whereas given his age you would be hoping he would be on a very upward improving curve.

Indeed, he was playing in a team which had a wretched season, 2 wins all campaign and only attained 12 pts.
Owing to his physical presence he is not bullied off the ball.
