I do sense a degree of unease amongst our supporters apropos our prospects this season.
Those that I know who are usually not over-freighted with negativity and who have excoriated me for my incessant 'Doomsaying' have brows corrugated by concern with positivity in short supply.

The quality of Sage is the least I'm concerned of, TBH.With so many players being recruited, and a number of key players leaving - there is bound to be a transitional period. However, the premier league is unforgiving, and we could quickly find ourselves in the thick of the relegation battle.
I guess the real debate will be how long ‘WE’ /Parish give Sage to mould the team together and get results.
With the likes of Eddie Howe, Dyche etc. available - the pressure is on!

That's not fair.....We are definitely the worse team at the moment in this division.
Dont let Spurs position fool you, they will pick up some wins and start pulling away.
Were are going to struggle, the brief this season is finish 17th.

Second worse....have you seen Ipswich v Man United.
I hope that doesn't come back to bite me when we play Ipswich in a couple of weeks.

TBH, it's kinda 'why hire a manager who wants to come here'. Especially one who is in the Champions League and one more good season away from having a shot at a top club, given the churn in managers. The club had a recent run of poor signings, a Chairman who a lot of managers fell out with and, other than Spurs, by far the worst point count in this calendar year of the 17 teams playing both seasonsA penny for the thoughts of Pierre Sage. For the club to appoint a manager with so little experience and proceed to sell most of its best players is just baffling. Surely there should be an understanding with every player that they are expected to remain with the club until their contract has 2 years to run, at which point discussions will take place on their likely futures with Palace. I can't believe we would countenance selling Lacroix, Munoz, and Sarr having already sold Eze and Guehi in the past year, and with the expectation of Mateta going too. How can a new manager succeed in those circumstances ?

cos Carlo Ancelloti, Jurgen Klopp and all the other Elite managers were 'not available'. We are a step-ladder club and so we get step-ladder personnel. Either ambitious young Turks, or tired journeymen.TBH, it's kinda 'why hire a manager who wants to come here'.
That is the most you should be worrying about. The quality of Sage is the least I'm concerned of, TBH.

if we get ten crap results, i will thank Mr Sage that it wasn't twenty.I actually fel sorry for Sage, as he will probably end up getting the blame for all the crap results

I’ll never forgive Keown while at Everton for his thuggish tackle on Eric ‘the Ninja’ Young in the centre circle at SP that put him out of the game for months.F##k him! Hes hated us ever since Geoff Thomas broke his nose in the ZDS Final. Made him look even uglier if that’s possible😀.

What like they have last two seasons , they really fooled everyone in believing they are a big club , big clubs don't struggle but they have and been arsehole lucky not to go downWe are definitely the worse team at the moment in this division.
