Trepidation for the 26/27 Prem season ?

I don't understand the point.
Nine English teams competed in Europe last season, and nine will compete this season.
The 'predicament ' remains the same for the teams involved.

For all teams playing Thursday it is.

All are likely to face what happened to us last season. Very few points in Sunday lunch games following European matches, especially away.

And despite the standard good starts from promoted teams let's see where they are in May.

There are only 3 spaces for relegation. We are at risk but we can't all go down.

It might be our improved squad depth that saves us.

There will be as much disruption this season as there was last season with 9 teams affected.
Unless I misunderstood the point, I took it that you were saying that other clubs will encounter what we did last season with a crowded schedule and it's demands.

To emphasise the points raised I understood we took 19 points from the last 23 games of the season and were the third lowest goalscorers in the league.The European win masked a poor season

We need a considerable improvement this season and with a new manager and a number of new players new to the league we have it all to do.

I would say that the reason for the lack of goals, especially at home, was the lack of any in game, tactical changes, what i saw yesterday was more player for player swaps, no tactical alterations, he looks like a Glasner clone to me, without having a competition we were favorites to win, the players will know already if he is up to the job, maybe Sarr has not seen what he likes, speculation i know, but what isn't speculation is no wins, no goals, if this is the same after 5 games then i fear Sage will not last long, hopefully i am wrong, but i fear i wont be.

Such a view is 'Gaining traction' amongst some of our supporters, however some are entertaining the notion that should his stay be ephemeral, culpability might not rest solely with the manager.

I see you as a catenaccio style coach, not averse to the dark arts, with a win at all cost methods.

I have been known to fly into a frightful bate at football , steaming akin to woks at a Chengdu dumpling stall, however my ire is not directed at the officials !
Finally, for avoidance of doubt, I am not a resident of Angmering but I have availed of the hospitality in certain Public Houses some while ago.

I think Sage's decision to play Glasball to start with until the players adjust to his system was an error of judgement - he should be implementing his tactics and ideas from the off; these professional players are paid tens of thousands of pounds a week and have played at the highest level (World Cup) and to think they need extra time to acclimatise to a new system after a break and a handful of friendly warm up games is ludicrous. And drop Mateta, the club can't be selecting a player that is in dispute - he wants to go so put faith in Strand Larsen and Nketiah to form an understanding and set out your stall.

Much as it’s a depressing defeat, I still say if the floundering uninterested mateta puts a chance or two away and/or Pickford hasn’t got a finger to Nketiah chance it’s a different game, all ifs and buts I know, but those missed chances obviously gave Everton confidence and we’re on the back foot as soon as we go behind.
We created chances and it’s something to build on, I’d still prefer playing that way to Royball or what could’ve been Dycheball with all that turgid sit behind the ball, not create anything and still lose!!
I’m sure I’ll feel different if we get to November and we haven’t won a game, but we’ve got to at least wait until the window shuts, we’ve had a few games and things settle down in September
