Spot on. Was that transfer really necessary ? Perhaps he was forcing a move but a decent substitute was required before any transfer activity. We've been caught with our pants down at the back and it doesn't look it will get better until at least Jan if not longer. Defense has crumbled judging by that goal and most of this season.

We didn't really have a choice he wanted to go and it was good money.

The problem again which keeps happening under SP we don't replace people and then you hear a load of excuses. (notice guy always disappears and only pops back when times are good or wants something)

We received close to 60m for Lacroix yet was refusing to pay 40m for others top players one of them went to another Prem club you could say are not our level.

He did not carry those players when it was those 3 at the back we still was iffy at times but losing Guehi and him together that is a big thing.

Yes we have signed some players which have gone on to be good but for every say 5 of those we have 20 which have not also over paid for them.

With our current squad we should be doing better even if it is lacking experience/quality it should still be able to be compact this is what good managers do but our current one appears clueless.
