Now if the former Stephen Yaxley- Lennon now goes by Tommy Robinson should the BBC and others not respect his right to identify as he wishes? If this was a Trans person for example who for argument sake was originally named Bernard Golightly but now wants to be called Belinda Twizzeltown would the BBC publish the same for them?

i.e. Transgender Belinda Twizzeltown, Whose real name is Bernard Golightly.

Cliff Richard / Elton John and many others. Both of them did not legally change their names for many years you only saw Harry Webb or Reg Dwight if it was relevant to the story.

It's odd how the media are happy to call some pop star "them" because they ask people to do that but will not do the same with Robinson.

However the media not just the BBC regularly refer to TR by his real name even when he isn't being charged with something.

It's a strange quirk of the media in the same way that they need to remind us that any mention of X must include that it was formerly known as Twitter even though it changed nearly two years ago.

Why do I have to 'trust' Tommy Robinson?

Most people are only going to see him as a rallying figure, they aren't going to take in the details of exactly where he stands on positions.....All that matters is that he stands against the largest threat to the country and all that should matter to us is that the left stand for that threat and feed and nurture it.

Fighting Robinson is fighting for the left and the establishment.....the people who hate the likes of us more than anyone.
