Time to start doing Business Steve..!!

Conference League it is then.

Sky Sports are reporting that Palace will lose in the region of £20m in revenue as a result.

While that figure can be questioned, if accurate you can see why the club has been so passive in the transfer market.

Let's hope that Palace can now focus fully on bolstering the squad in the remainder of the window.

It's only those figures if you compare winners of both and being realistic we was never going to win Europa League (we have spend only 2m he don't have squad)

I see Grealish has gone to Everton on loan which is good we wont be touching him.

Wrong yet again, Grumpy

I still don't agree - we have been almost uniquely passive compared with the division; every club bar one has been considerably more active than us, and most have no revenue coming from Europe.

The screenshot is a few days out of date by now - Villa have since confirmed Guessand so you can add ~ £30m to their total...

We're miles off it - a £20m swing in revenue surely isn't a good enough excuse? Particularly with the context of our horrendous start last season, and the assurances made to Glasner as a result.

I love Parish and I think he's far and away our best ever owner, but that doesn't make him or the club immune from criticism - I think criticism of this window is very reasonable given all of the context.

Well I still think it was a factor and not the only reason . And Parish himself has referenced it.
I’ve said on numerous occasions that his promise of getting business done early hasn’t been delivered on and yes, criticism of the window to date is understandable.
Now we know where we are competitively in Europe I’m sure we’ll see some movement

Definitely a factor, no denying that, but alone it's not enough to explain the complete lack of activity for me.

I do agree that I think we'll still see 2 or 3 come in before the end of the window, but I don't agree that would then make our inactivity to date ok - whatever we do from now, we've been too slow.

Are you retarded I believe yes is the answer.

Watching an interview with Glasner post match he said that Kamada will miss the Chelsea game but he didn't mention Guehi (he was walking ok after the game though).

Hughes was excellent today when he came on for Kamada.

I think today demonstrated that Devenny has a good temperament which augurs well for his future.
Guehi had cramp so should be fine - assuming he is not sold.

As Glasner mentioned this weekend we need 2 players ASAP - a forward and a defender. Whilst the 3 forwards are great as are the 3 CBs if anyone of those 6 gets injured we are immediately in trouble.

Clearly if either MG or Eze were to leave this transfer window they would also need replacing, so potentially we need 4.

However, as SP also mentioned we are Crystal Palace - there is a limited amount of cash and we can't force players to come. I wonder if we matched the Villa fee for Guessand (which appears to be similar to what we paid for Nketiah) and he chose to go there. It happens.

Anyway, we know the European outcome now so we have a confirmed budget - a younger and hopefully better Ayew (who plays across the forward line) and a CB who can also play full back would be ideal additions.

We have the loan options 2 - Chelsea have 2 or 3 young players who would benefit from a decent loan
