The Spurs Meltdown

Memories of the 1970’s, what a great decade, Spurs, Man Utd and Chelsea all getting relegated 😃
It wasn't such a big deal in those days. But it was funny - particularly Chelsea were no bigger than us. Spurs and Utd were barely affected, however. They kept their support. There wasn't the TV money to matter too much. Divisions one and two were more or less parallel and three and four were the minnows.

I know Chelsea were basically s*** in a run down ground as they struggled to replace the good team they had in the 60’s and early 70’s
Man united going down was quite a shock though even back then, considering they were European champions a few years before

Spurs keep up their hopelessness, losing 3-0 early on in the first half against Athletico Madrid. How Connor must wish that he had stayed in Spain rather than joining this shower!!

Tottenham are away to Liverpool.
W.Ham are home to Man C.
Nottm Forest are home to Fulham.

If Tottenham are defeated and both W.Ham and Nottm Forest win, Tottenham will sink into the bottom three. I doubt if this scenario will be realised.
will be first time they have been in bottom three this year if it happens. They have spent as many matchweeks in top 5 as Man U. Only one PL team has neither been in either the top 5 or bottom 3 all season., I think. Have a guess

That. Was truly hilarious. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
I would be raging if i was a Spuds supporter and had travelled to see that. While Kinsky is my Man-of-the-Match, I think all the Spuds team played their part.
Watching their last games in the Premiership is going to be fantastic viewing. 👍:football:

LOL.

Last season Spurs finished 16 (circling the drain) most fans of a club in that position would not be expecting too much the following season. Spurs have gaping holes in their team that have still not been filled.

Another poster mentioned that when Harry Kane was there his goals covered up a lot of their weaknesses which have now been exposed.

It says a lot about the club and their fan base that they are on the verge of sacking their second manager this season. A realistic position this season for the club to have taken would be mid table being progress with a cup run, and starting to fill those gaps.

But no this is Spurs and their deluded fans. Frank should have been given time and now Tudor looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights.

Well it’s not us, we have been in the top five

If I was Venkatesham, I would be on the phone to Sean Dyche right now. Whether he could keep them up I don’t know, but he’d have a better chance than most and right now it looks like they’re headed for the drop under Tudor.
