The best film trilogies

I see Jane Fonda as Stan's mum and a storyline around her burning Stan's favourite vest on an ironing board Arthur found in a skip while Jack takes the new clippie (Halle Berry) to the Whippet Inn for a Scotch egg and a few snowballs over a game of darts.
it's called type casting

Al Pacino hasn’t aged well in the last few years since his near death scare during Covid. Hollywood stars do age as well I know. Well that’s if they allow themselves to without surgery.

Al Pacino on near-death, The Godfather and his phone case

Here he is standing and talking a few years ago I think before the death scare looking healthier…

But he’s become a father to a 4th child with his 29 year old girlfriend. He has 3 others. 22 year old twins with one woman and 33 year old twins with another.

if he can manage missionary at his age he is to be commended, if I ran a book I'd go odds on girls on top, 9/4 spoon, 11/2 doggy, 12s bar and that includes missionary, several pages missing from the kama sutra at his age, my repetoire has definitely narrowed (or shortened!), comes with age, no pun intended.

This thread got me watching The Godfather films again as I haven’t seen them in a while. Endless layers to the storylines, the characters and scenes. Enjoying some of the analyses on YouTube. The subtleties of the scene when Tessio is about to be killed off is a masterpiece.

It’s not a trilogy, but a doubley? or a pairy? 😀 Anyway I’ve always enjoyed Every which way but loose and Any which way you can

He ends on a 'Whoo Ah'.

It's not a a trilogy as such, more my Freeview trio: Cockneys versus Zombies, Lesbian Vampire Killers and Nude Nuns with Big Guns. Three of the best ... any preferences?

I recommend the prequel to Omen 1. It’s called ‘The First Omen’ and is set in Rome leading up to the birth of the beast. It can’t be easy creating a prequel when everyone knows what it’s leading up to but this isn’t story isn’t as simple as you think so they’ve done a good job of it.

I’ve also recently watched ‘Damien’, an American tv series of 8 parts following on from Omen 1. It jumps from Damien at 5 to him at 30 as if Omen 2 and 3 aren’t part of his past. It’s quite good.
