The bbc, again.

I really hope he does and then takes some time to reflect on why that might be and what the consequences are.

That the HoL is a bubble of right wing opinion is obvious and undeniable. Its main rival, the BBS, isn’t.

The HoL’s format is, in my opinion, and of others I have read, very much better. It’s why I use this site and not the BBS.

Why then does the BBS have, by everything I have read, a far bigger membership? Could it be that the reputation of those using the HoL puts people off? We know some members have been hounded out. Now we see right wingers ignoring posters whose views they disagree with, yet in the next breath will be chirping about free speech and cancel culture.

Doubtless the HoL is a commercial operation and having a larger membership would generate greater advertising revenue. Is it then wise to encourage a small group to dominate when you are marketing a superior product?
Read some of the vitriol aimed at posters with right wing views on the bbs, this is kindergarten compared to that. I enjoy the football threads and get good information about tickets on there but steer well clear of the political thread. I believe our yellow card system is far better than any system they have.

So it's all about subjective feelings and a hysterical, selfish reaction to not getting one's own way.

This is how women behave. This is a woman's attitude toward things.

Only good for one thing.

Two if you get a good cook!

If they were giving out medals for the sheer amount of waffle I had to wade though getting laid in my 20s I reckon I'd have looked like I'd served in every war going.

The BBC have responded to this manufactured outrage by issuing the following brief statement:-

“Michael Prescott is a former adviser to a board committee where differing views and opinions of our coverage are routinely discussed and debated."

So one member of a committee takes the hump because he was outvoted and decides to leak his views to a right wing newspaper known for their opposition to the BBC.

Then the rest of the right amplify it and turn it into yet another BBC bashing hate fest.

Just stop and think. If this was really so important why wasn’t it noticed and discussed at the time?

You mean like grooming gangs? Why wasn't that discussed at the time?

The BBS is a moronic inferno of far-left nut jobs who are a disgrace to Crystal Palace FC.

This is a report from the BBC themselves, the speech was edited.

It's more telling that only one member of the committee objected to misinformation being disseminated.

Having once owned a kindergarten I can assure you that it isn’t.

The kind of attitudes often shown here would have a toddler on the naughty step instantly.

This reminded me of that cowboy gravestone in the USA:-

“FIVE RULES FOR MEN TO FOLLOW FOR A HAPPY LIFE:

1. It's important to have a woman who helps at home,
cooks from time to time, cleans up, and contributes to
the finances.

2. It's important to have a woman who can make you laugh.

3. It's important to have a woman who you can trust, and
doesn't lie to you.

4. It's important to have a woman who is good in bed,
and likes to be with you.

5. It's very, very important that these four women do not know each other
or you could end up dead like me.”

I have tried to heed these wise words throughout my 81 years.
