Anyone would think that corruption runs rife through all levels of football administration.
Surely not.
Surely not.

Lost £720,000 a day for a year? They might need a new accountant.GBP 262 million loss last year!
And in danger of missing Champions League this year.
The only reason they're not in FFP violation is selling the women's team to themselves last year.
What a joke Clearlake is! 🤣

Chelsea are playing Port Vale Saturday. Chelsea lost £240m and said it’s all under control. Vale lost £6m last year and said it’s challenging. It’s a total joke now.Lost £720,000 a day for a year? They might need a new accountant.

This money will keep vale going for at least a season i would think.Chelsea are playing Port Vale Saturday. Chelsea lost £240m and said it’s all under control. Vale lost £6m last year and said it’s challenging. It’s a total joke now.

No that’s just us!This money will keep vale going for at least a season i would think.
I doubt they would be thinking f*** Chelsea the cheating fuckers.
England
Nope but at least some dough will go down through the pyramid in some capacity. No that’s just us!

Consider how creative they already are and then wonder how much they really lost.Lost £720,000 a day for a year? They might need a new accountant.

Exactly they've got a very good accountant.Consider how creative they already are and then wonder how much they really lost.
Exactly. The accountant doesn't make spending decisions but has some how managed to record there losses without getting into trouble with the FA.Exactly they've got a very good accountant.

Personally, I think the spending and contracts are more of a problem than anything else. You've got something like 80 overpaid players milling around and needing their hair cut. Chelsea will end up with players outnumbering supporters at this rate.Oh my. Hitting a new low. I thought Lampard’s interim period was the low. I was wrong.
It’s sad to see what 1.5 billion gets you these days.

I hope not. Hope he goes back to the continent.Glasner?

Sky mentioned him earlier but thought he'd want too much independence to suit either party. They're getting to the stage where picking up a nice pay off after a few months while not necessarily suffering much reputational damage might appeal though.Glasner?

I am sure it will transpire eventually that BlueCo are guilty of some of the same things as Roman, too. The numbers just don't add up, even with creative accounting regards hotels and women's teams.Well 1.6 billion has gained Clearlake (aka BlueCo)... no European places.
I didn't watch today's match (watching Palace and flipping to the Spurs and West Ham matches), but seemed like a bad loss to Sunderland, with a red card for Fofana, which according to the reports was entirely avoidable.
BTW, when I say BlueCo has no European places, I'm including Chelsea-lite (not Brighton, that's Chelsea-Academy), Strasbourg. Knocked out of Conference League and 8th in Ligue 1.
That's going to take a hit to their bottom line, and they can't even sell the women's team to themselves again, or the hotel, or...
I'm not saying Abramovich was good for the game, those wishing for him back are delusional, he played under different rules (some of which are now illegal, others of which were then and have been found out). I'm just saying this ownership came in and tried to 'revolutionize' the way a club should be run, talking down to other owners and doing things that were not the status quo (7 year contracts for a ton of players). It's now come back to bite them where it hurts and I hate to say it, but it pleases me, as it's karma for their arrogance.
