Thank you Marc

Sure but we obviously wanted the money as well. Pretty sure if we'd said we want to keep him until the summer he would have stayed and been fine.

Has not publicly agitated for a moved and more than justified his transfer fee so no complaints from me.
He seemed pretty happy to go in the summer.

I'm just not interested in players once they leave. One day we can look back and evaluate a player like him, but right now I hope City get relegated. Guehi is good in a five, but in a four it might be different.

Bit weird all this about his wage like it makes any sort of difference. He is a world class defender, that's the going rate and all power to him for pulling City's pants down to get it. He's not a Palace fan so why would he stay and play for us for less than his market value?

All the best Marc, thanks for your service. And please don't score against us.

Given the rumours that Pep may leave in the summer and the possibility, albeit remote, that Citeh could be relegated for financial irregularities I’m slightly surprised that Marc chose to go to Citeh at this time. Finance for him wasn’t an issue since he could claim a huge signing fee in the summer from a host of top clubs. What he has done is leave us £20 million that we wouldn’t have had if he’d waited til the summer.

Hands up who would leave Palace for 300k a week at another club 👍
He all but saw out his contract and we got our money back on him.

It worked out well for all parties, but now that he has gone, he's just another opposition player. I support the team, not individuals.

It's not personal, but I hope he has a nightmare at City. I'm glad to see Eze struggling at Arsenal.
I want those thinking about moving on to take note that, although they might get richer, the grass is not always greener on the pitch. Dodgy idiom aside.

the palace curse some have left for better pasture's and its gone tits up lol

Just watching Man City, three down. My goodness that defence needs Marc G 🙂
The good news for him is that he will walk into the starting lineup. The bad news is that, I believe, he is not eligible to play for them in the Champions League until the knock out rounds - which they may not make
