Thank you Marc

Nothing left for me to say really, so many appropriate words already written which express my feelings.

It's just a pity his departure has been slightly clouded by Ollie's temper tantrum.

Marc, you've been an outstanding footballer, captain and stalwart of our club. Not many players behave in the same gracious, good natured way that we have seen from you, particularly during the last few months which must have been difficult for you. Good luck in the rest of your career which will undoubtedly bring you just reward.

So it's official, our captain has left us.

I just wanted to say, what an absolute gent and resolute professional he has been throughout his time with us.

Immortalised by his massive contribution to our historic FA Cup and Community Shield wins.

Thank you Marc
yeah helped win the FA Cup, but gone now, so no longer relevant

Before I watched it I though "what are these soppy buggers going on about, can't be that emotional ffs".... 😢

Really highlights what a t*** Glasner's made of himself as well, when you see how professional Marc has been.

Thanks for everything Marc, you’ll forever be in the memories and history of the club. Have a great spell up North, add some more trophies to your CV, and don’t forget you’re always welcome on SE25.

Hope you read this Marc, or a friend/loved one at least does and tells you about this thread.
From the bottom of my heart thank you.

Marc, what a lovely young man. As an old fellow, I look at you and think "that's the kind of young man I'd like as a son-in-law"; and I can't think of a greater compliment. A true professional, who shows that is by their fruits that you know a person. I will watch your future career with interest and always be grateful to you for what you led our team to. Thank you and bless you.

Aw Marc, that was lovely. You were the captain to bring home the major trophy, the FA Cup, what we all yearned for. 5 decades for me. 80 years for the gentlemen I sat next to at Wembley. Of course you will be a legend for all Crystal Palace fans always.

Dear Marc
You are a credit to your parents and family. Listening to your interview you clearly "get" what it's like to be a Palace fan.

After supporting Palace for 63 years my fa cup dream came true and these 4 following words don't seem enough but it's all I got.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Yep top, top player and a good man.
Gets in most people’s ‘best ever Palace 11’ I’d guess.
No still Billy Gilbert and Andy Thorn for me😎 although with Guehi being an England international and a cup winner and the fact that Munoz has replaced Hinshelwood in my best eleven I might have to switch to three at the back to fit Marc in 😃

What an absolute class act and a gent. In this modern era of footballers going on strike etc he's always acted absolutely impeccably.

Captaining us to our first ever FA Cup win, no one will ever be able to do that. He's well and truly a part of Palace folklore.

Thanks for the memories and I look forward to seeing him captaining England one day.
