Given Textors / Eagle Holdings track record, it begs the question that if Textor was to become outright owner of CPFC, would he pass the PL’s Fit and Proper Owner test ?

150+ million to increase capacity by not even 10 thousand (prices keep increasing so now the expected price is over 200m)

If you do simple math in the owners life time they would not even break even (some articles mentioned it would take 10 years to break even which was true for the original figure of 75m not the new amount plus it hasn't taken into account the project time will take 4 years to complete)

I said it at the time makes no sense to polish a turd and they have wasted large sums of money already.

The biggest thing holding us back is our ownership. We're never going to get further than where we are now with our current ownership. Unless they have sudden personality changes.

I just don't see companies lining up to have off sites in SE 25, vanity project IMO./ and now thefre is talk of "engineering issues", if true that is the kind of negligence directors get sued for.

I think the issue is that it is not feasible to keep any part of the stand open when the works are being done, and this makes the project even more expensive.

Maybe SP will finally have to use the appalling facilities in the AW but I suspect he will be in one of the CAFS boxes

Whilst I agree with a lot of this don't forget that the reason for the re-build is not just extra capacity. The stadium is out of date with modern designs and I doubt if you wanted to build one like it today it would pass the necessary standards.

When your toilet breaks down at home you just have to spend the money to fix it, that is how I see the rationale behind this. Now could it be done cheaper or give us more bang (seats) for our buck I don't know I leave that to others.

We should literally protest if this begins to look like it could happen. The bloke is an absolute weapon and would drag us into oblivion, I'm sure of it. Parish has his flaws but he has brought this club on further than anybody in our history and the idea that f***ing fraud would force him out makes me feel ill.

The Middle Eastern owners are often highly morally questionable for obvious reasons, though they do seem to be successful in improving their clubs.

The American owners are insanely dangerous from a football perspective as they just seem to view it as a money making project and come in with little understanding of the game, the culture and typically tend to be arrogant enough to think they can bulldoze it all.

I'm desperate for Palace to somehow kick on but would much rather mid table mediocrity and steady growth than risk it all with any of that lot. Honestly, I think Textor would relegated us or worse.

Dream scenario some English billionaire who just lets Parish continue to call the shots.

Unfortunately Parish is in a weak position, as he only has a 10% holding. Textor is loose cannon and a threat to the stability of Palace.
I have the feeling, yet again when Palace are on the up, it has a uncanny knack of going tits up and we tumble back down again. Over 55 years of supporting, seen it all go wrong many times before.

The one saving grace is that he has equal voting rights with the other Directors, and I believe, the casting vote in a deadlock.
