Ozoh & Hughes looked alright together in middle, forgot TM was even on the pitch, Tayo is not going to take over from him based on this half. Esse, tricks n flicks, tries hard & like JRS, no end product. As 'Bromley' has said, Nketiah, the new Ian Wright(lol) took his goals well.

But seriously I think you’re right, these games are only friendlies, but it’s good to see players doing well in them rather than looking shite…….i know someone now will say they’re saving the shite for the season 🤣
 
Franca hat trick. 5-1 Palace.

Good work out. Bromley next week. Pierre can do more fine tuning. This is much better than that World Cup thingy in the States.
 
FT 5-1

Drakes-Thomas, what. a. player. really impressed. Franca took his goals well, led the line well. Doucoure is definitely building back his fitness, he is one hell of a lump, as is that lad Jemide in defence, hmm. Johnson, why, what is the point, over hit passes, wrong place, blind alleys, but not offside, a very expensive mistake imho. When Imray came on there was more urgency & attacking intent down the right, what with him & Munoz we are ok for that position.

Still, 1st game, friendly v a Holloway team, roll on Bromley(the team, Monkey)
