If we did win the Conference without Glasner it will be a middle finger up at him for his behaviour which has been poor as hell recently. And yes, I don’t take the blame also away from Parish but he is an eagle / fan / board member / owner which Glasner isn’t!

I didn't say that he knew that Palace would spend no money, I said he would know the finances, well, at least if he did some due diligence and asked a few questions at interview. That said, we weren't in Europe when he started, so I can obviously understand how he feels that he needed reinforcements for the season we qualified. I think he said he needed 3 quality players, well that's probably £60-80m minus wages and the club doesn't do that sort of money in one transfer window.

The atmosphere today was very down after they scored the second goal. The performance was poor. Wharton was lucky not to be sent off and couldn’t string a pass and Ping was rubbish.

I don't think he would have known the net spend would be £0. Palace get money from being in the PL and some from Uefa.

Of all the people to blame for our current predicament Johnson is the last one who deserves it. I feel for him walking into this absolute shambles

Worrying for me is what he said about the team sentiment and players feeling hard done by. Papering over awful results with an attack on the hierarchy does give an inkling that we need some structural trouble-shooting immediately. Freedman leaving, for me was a bit murky. Few things seem to have sat right since then.

Tend to agree with this, I don’t see £35m in Johnson’s makeup, but then again I don’t rate Pino, Nketiah or Esse, so there’s a whole bundle of money that could have been better spent.
