Summer Transfers 2025 (rumours and incomings)

It's potentially an exciting window. Whereas previously it felt like we were treading water a bit, now we literally need to spend money and improve the squad to cope with Europe and keep Glasner.

I just pray that we make some signings early so they can get used to the system quickly and we don't have that slow start to the season again.

In today's play-off final it is the model of plausibility that Sunderland's Eliezer Mayenda will feature, a player who has impressed me.
A left-footed striker who is still a tad 'Raw' but is exciting, fleet of foot and direct.
Tony Mowbray signed him from Sochaux for £1 Mill with a 25% sell-on clause.
Sunderland's Wilson Isidor is also a player who has caught my eye.
He is certainly very fleet of foot.

I do hope my comments have not jinxed these players !
I plan on watching this game and wlll keep an eye on players we have been linked with from Sunderland as well as the left back you mentioned from Sheffield United.
It should be an interesting game.
United are a typical rugged Wilder side whereas Sunderland have a bit more variety to their game.
A difficult game to call.

I suspect Sheff Utd are favourites but favourites do not always emerge victorious at Wembley !!

Sheff Utd haven't won any of their last 7 matches at Wembley with their last win coming 100 years ago against Cardiff in the 1925 FA Cup Final.
That makes me think it could be Sheffield United’s day.
After all, we hadn’t won anything for 100 plus years and lost a couple of cup finals.

It’s the way football on occasions goes, sometimes defying any logic or reason.

Im hoping palace this season get all there transfer business done before pre- season starts would be a first especially when the charity shield is on the 9th august
