One excuse for not building the New Main Stand.I'd like Palace to buy Yamal
One excuse for not building the New Main Stand.I'd like Palace to buy Yamal
Thanks doombear, i know you keep a record of these things, appreciate it.His original contract was up to June this year, so the 1 year extension means we have to suffer him for one more season unless we can offload him somehow.
I suspect Glasner has washed his hands of him as I can imagine Edouard reacting badly to OG's training regime and demands about playing for the team etc..
If it was up to me, I'd give him away to any club that wanted him and, if necessary, offer to pay part of his wages for the next 12 months just to get rid of him.
We are his preferred destination, he just doesn't have a clue who we are.A cheeky bid for that Barcelona Yamal fellow wouldent go amiss 😱
Perhaps he'll learn at school tomorrow. We are his preferred destination, he just doesn't have a clue who we are.
Desire Doue of PSG is also extremely talented. When I mentioned signing Yamal, it was obviously tongue in cheek but I've not been so impressed by a young player since I saw Messi.
He also appears blessed with a very good temperament and a real enjoyment of playing the game.
What would a young Zaha be worth now?
He had as many ways of beating a player as any player as I've seen.
Dazzling footwork, and speed too in his younger days.
I agree.Desire Doue of PSG is also extremely talented.
interestingly he is Leicester 2nd highest earner after Vardy (who they are releasing now they've been relegated). His original contract was up to June this year, so the 1 year extension means we have to suffer him for one more season unless we can offload him somehow.

Is There, Where is he them, he must be hiding.interestingly he is Leicester 2nd highest earner after Vardy (who they are releasing now they've been relegated).
I think we will struggle to find a team prepared to pay his full wages next season - a transfer fee on top seems wishful thinking.
Shame as there's a decent player in there somewhere

I agree, in Glasners set up, Sarr on the left, and Olise, on the Right would have been better, so we need an Olise Clone For Glasner, that saying a 4-2-3-1 would suit Eze perfectly, or 4-4-1-1.The Sun is running a story that Glasner is 'relaxed' about Eze and Guehi leaving in the summer, that he wants more physical strength and consistency in the team and that he wants 6 new players in a rebuild.
I'm sure Glasner has not been giving an interview to the Sun along these lines, so you have to surmise it's conjecture and speculation.
Bellingham is mentioned as a potential incoming and I do think he'll leave Sunderland in the summer, but some top clubs seem interested in him too.
With regard to Eze, there's no doubt of his tremendous ability but it may be that we could get a better fit for the front 3 role that Eze has been shoehorned into in Glasner's system.
Where was Vince Hilaire, He's normally, here and there, and every..............Agree, Yamal is the best teenager I've seen since Messi - only Mbappe really comes close over the last 10 years or so, and Yamal looks so much more polished already.
Whatever his faults, Zaha was a genuinely world-class dribbler - the list of all time dribbles completed in Europe's 'big five' leagues since they starting collecting the data (06-07) is:
Messi - 2358
Hazard - 1285
Ribery - 1061
Neymar - 984
Zaha - 972
Cristiano Ronaldo - 937
That's some list to be on.
Also demonstrates what an absolute freak of nature Messi is.
Honestly, I don’t see us letting them both go, I think they’re too much of integral parts of the team. The Sun is running a story that Glasner is 'relaxed' about Eze and Guehi leaving in the summer, that he wants more physical strength and consistency in the team and that he wants 6 new players in a rebuild.

It doesn't look like Guehi will sign a new contract and Eze has a release clause so we may not have much say in the matter.Honestly, I don’t see us letting them both go, I think they’re too much of integral parts of the team.
He wants 6 players but how many 18 yr old Scottish Goalies or 17 yr old N.Irish players does he want? Plus, we bought the young Australian none of us will ever see again. So that's one.The Sun is running a story that Glasner is 'relaxed' about Eze and Guehi leaving in the summer, that he wants more physical strength and consistency in the team and that he wants 6 new players in a rebuild.

I'd forgotten Ahamada. As far as I can see he's only played 3 games for Rennes. You have to believe the Lacroix, Sarr, Munoz, Riad, Esse, Kamada and Wharton were signed with Glasners approval, as he knew he was to become manager, he thought the start of 24/25, but had to take over earlier, not many errors, the system is everything to Glasner, so i expect a Left footed CB, to go with Riad, when he hopefully gets fit, a left footed, right winger, a LWB, and cover for Muñoz, and a goalkeeper, and another CF, could be the six, Plus the return of Doucoure, Ozoh, Ahamada, Edouard, Rak-Sakyi and hopefully a full and successful pre-Season for Franca.
