Its its anywhere near the numbers being quoted, they can have him.
Capable of the sublime, but is so inconsistent it hurts.
Completely agree - anything north of £50m and I think it's a no-brainer.Its its anywhere near the numbers being quoted, they can have him.

Have just spoken to a Leicester Supporter. who told me that Edouard does not appear in matchday squads. Question - will he be allowed back (as one of our 25), or taken back and swiftly loaned out?
What is the remaining length of his contract?
If they were relegated they would be more skint!I thought United were skint.
Why would Eze want to go to Man Utd who will finish below us in the league and have no Euro Competition involvement next season? It’s the same as last summer I’ve heard. Clubs get a month to activate his £68m buyout clause otherwise he’s a Palace player.
Manure have also been linked with Semenya and a striker. Don’t know where they are going to get all this money from unless they sell some of their cr@p somehow!!
The usual answer money. Why would Eze want to go to Man Utd who will finish below us in the league and have no Euro Competition involvement next season?
Ah yes: money, the root of all....The usual answer money.
Remi Mathews(GK) is about to sign a 2 year extension to his contract. If true then that's a good move by the club as he is one of the lowest paid members of the squad & means we don't have to look for a 3rd goalkeeper . . .
Agreed! It is all about building depth of squad so as to rotate and earnestly compete across all competing formats of the game. Furthermore, by adopting this response, it becomes a statement to all first team players to believe in growth and aspirations of the club rather than be tempted by other, so-called bigger clubs elsewhere.disagree that is not a good move.
I would rather have Joe as the number 3.
We need to stop having players just sit around.
Our current No 2, Matt Turner is on Loan until the end of this season.disagree that is not a good move.

Interesting debate /// who is better Goodman or Whitworth? Both having excellent seasons…Our current No 2, Matt Turner is on Loan until the end of this season.
It is the model of plausibility that he will depart and Joe Whitworth installed as back-up to Henderson.
Time will tell.
This debate has been done before & the general consensus was that Whitworth is too small to be a 'keeper. Personally, i disagree, but there you go.Interesting debate /// who is better Goodman or Whitworth? Both having excellent seasons…

Yes he is which was odd choice to get him on loan but I'm not going to get into that.
Joe is not ready to be number 2 he would be a 3 or I expect they will loan him out to a higher lvl.
I could see us buying someone like Matt Turner who would be very cheap.
I don't see point in Mathews the whole point of 3rd keeper is they will be good enough if you need to put them in the guy had 0 experience at this lvl plus was never even in the lower leagues anything special so it made no sense (It's another one of those Palace choices to fill numbers up on the cheap not go for quality)

Forest paid £10m for him so i can't see them accepting much less, maybe £6m or 7m minimum. Would that money not be better spent on a younger, up and coming prospect assuming neither Whitworth or Goodman are ready??Yes he is which was odd choice to get him on loan but I'm not going to get into that.

My understanding is that the deal was £7 Mill rising to £10 Mill.Forest paid £10m for him so i can't see them accepting much less, maybe £6m or 7m minimum. Would that money not be better spent on a younger, up and coming prospect assuming neither Whitworth or Goodman are ready??
Seeing as Leicester have just announced that Vardy is leaving at the end of the season, perhaps they'll keep Edouard? If my memory serves me right, he signed a one year extention when he went on loan to Leicester so probably runs out in '26.
He was wanted by a MLS side, i think Charlotte FC, but he turned it down in January which was a shame for us!!
