Wolves have signed Arokodare for 24 million and Larsen won't be going to Newcastle. A Hwang loan might be back on - although he did score at the weekend
 
FFS - I don’t know what to say here. I don’t know what goes on behind the scenes but I can’t help but think that Parish should have held on here as it will be a damn site more costly to replace Glasner - long term. I doubt he will be signing a new contract. I get Steve’s a fan and has a difficult balance here but Glasner was quite clear and I wouldn’t sign a new contract if I was him.

Does our chairman and stance piss managers off I wonder?

I think we really need to get a replacement in that Glasner can work with and wants and we have 3 and a half hours. 🙂

Well hopefully there won't be such a significant gulf in ability as you suggest, and frankly with our weak squad I'd probably take two slightly inferior players and cash in provided they weren't VERY inferior.

To further caveat this, did anyone think Lacroix would be a sufficient replacement for Andersen before he kicked a ball? A gamble, yes. We might be about to gamble again, but gambles can sometimes work out well.
 
I have to say that this window has been absolutely nuts. Not us, for everyone.
The top 6 have done an insane amount of signing and spent stupid amounts. Club spending records have been smashed, as well as individual fees. I still cannot get my head around £125,000,000 for Alexander Isak. Alexander f***ing Isak! A hundred and twenty five million.

Every team has had a bonkers window, whether it's spending way too much or bizarrely depleting their squads like Bournemouth and Brentford.
I wonder what brought on this crazy market? Definitely the craziest one since Grealish got bought. (And that's before you factor in what they paid for him!)

The Premier League should consider having an upper limit on overall players at a club. And gradually phasing it in. It'll stop the stockpiling by Chelsea in particular. By my reckoning, they've got well over fifty players. Feels like more.
