Strasbourg vs. Crystal Palace match thread

Give him time! He's already better than Kamada was after the same amount of time in the team. It makes no sense to criticise a player after three months.
Edit: Sorry, to write off a player.....
My only comment on that would be he shouldn’t be starting and might just need to make an affect coming off the bench. With that said it’s not the first match this season where we have missed one on ones and open goals as well as terrible final balls. Not sure this will change which I suppose that’s why they play for us. Yes Strasbourg were good but we played awful for big parts of this match. And that’s been in many matches this season but we have still got the results. Wolves being a good example of this :-(

Glasner was succinct in his post match interview....'we need more players to score more goals...we can't always rely on clean sheets...'
Over to you Steve.

Simple empty goals miss pino 3 misses , there keeper lead a charmed life , this can't keep happening , at some point all our chances start going in , manu game good place to start 🦅🦅 have faith

they played nearly all the football, apart from the first ten minutes ,when we did our usual thing of playing great through the midfield before misfiring in the final third, we tended to go long and fight for knockdowns, but it worked OK. I've been supportive of Pino when he's been a bit outmuscled or not always clicked in previous games, but he was poor tonight. Wharton's entrance improved us, but those missed chances? Geeezzzz!!! 😕

Indeed we missed gilt-edged chances but overall we have been totally abject.
Munoz has had a very poor game, as has Sarr and Pino flatters to deceive.
Looking at the game at its entirety we have been decidedly second-best.
Strasbourg are a good team and if Glasner leaves, Rosenior would be a very good replacement.
Strasbourg have a proper stadium and are a bigger club than us with a better team and more pedigree - he ain't coming here.
