This trap of 'my side is less scummier than yours' is a massive part of the problem. Don't get me wrong, indulged in it for years but the wider issue is that they are just both parts of the same arse. And have less and less faith in a Farage led Reform being ultimately anything different. Suspect there will be a reasonbly large defection from sitting Tory MP's which will effectively turn into a take-over, and some kind of alliance forming.

Meaning the square sum of SFA will be achieved.

Westminster, of any and every shade, IS the problem.

TBF he probably does, it is a stressful job especially if you have to keep defending broken promises and remembering what lies you have told. He must have accrued enough air miles to go somewhere far away. I wonder if Lord Ali has a holiday home?
 
Well, why are those in the know pussyfooting about and not just casually naming the individuals?

Starmer's policies so far owe more to Thatcher than Attlee.

What he has is time.

For any actual change he would have to be as radical as she was, he is hitting the wrong targets imo.

Well rumours are emerging that allege Starmer's administration have lied over the Southport attack and kept the truth about it from the public and that they allowed misinformation to be spread. It's alleged that people have been jailed over the Southport attack who had made posts that were more true than what the state was admitting to.

Tbh I don't care. I care that he does the right thing by this country and a good job, and is a respectable statesman.

It'll be refreshing to have a "big secret" is not some big scam off the taxpayer for once.
 
No doubt we are going to hear about Starmer's big secret within the first two years of his tenure as......as with Trump, you get all the unpopular stuff you deem necessary out of the way in the first half, before you have to start thinking of people voting.
