Nathan Ferguson was the footballing version of Schrodinger's cat.

The potential to be playing or not playing each season.

It's just that everytime you looked in the box, he wasn't playing.

You'd look one week and he see he wasn't playing with his balls.....The next week, you'd look again, weirdly hoping he was playing with his balls.

At which point you'd start to question how you ended up with this metaphor in the first place.

Aren't the hollywood mob looking to sell Wrexham? Thought I read somewhere they've 10x their money or something like that?

Also - another club being stupid enough to pay over the odds for the player doesn't mean we've been "usurped". Means we're not morons. But whatever works to fit the narrative being pushed I suppose....
simple answer no , they are going to extend which planning already agreed , They are trying to invest in the city Wexham its self , they brought back Wexham lager , which you didnt get drunk on it , it was that weak you drowned , no local news on on them going , trust me rumoirs like that would be very hot were I live 👍

Because:

1. you dont know what its true and what isn't, so take no notice to it.
2. He's played 14 games and is valued (by transfermarket) at 7m Euro

Just pay the asking price is very easy to say when its not your money
I suppose you would rather wait until the last day of the window and see what we end up with, rather than go for what the club have identified as a target?

Not necessarily, but I'd also not overpay by the tune of about 10m if I didn't have to. Especially as we are talking about availability for 1 game now before the window shuts.

I'd also try to read between the lines a little.

On a side, we also have no idea of the truth. Is he actually a target? How many other targets do we have? Have we even made a bid? Are we closer to other targets? Are Angers happy with the deal but want to find cover before accepting?

Is there any truth in the Wrexham thing? If so, isn't it odd that teams from different divisions are bidding for he same player? Why would the lad ever accept a deal to move down from the League 1 to the Championship when there is a prem team interested?

What we do know is we know very little of the truth. If anything.

Sky are reporting that we are after a CB and CM. Which is believable after losing Guehi and struggling without Kamada.

We've also signed a wide forward this window. And across 3 places have JPM, Johnson, Sarr, Pino, Uche, Nketiah.

So my read of the situation would be that Cherif isn't a priority. He's young and in experienced and we have other more pressing positions. We may have been looking to test the waters, and Angers rightly dont want to lose him in Jan and would want way over his market value.

Personally I'd see if they would take a lot less and have him on loan until the summer.

Also a version of the Planck who bought him watching him being Constantly injured.

Looks like he quit football after failing to earn a contract at Portsmouth. During that trial he managed to play 4 games in a pre-season, yet for us he played 8 minutes in 4 seasons.

Shocking.

yes, they are sensibly selling small stakes - 10% here and there - to bring further investment into the club.
They still have a majority c70 to 80% shareholding. They are still very committed.

The recent 10% sale for c£50m shows how much they have grown form a £2m investment 5 years ago.

We signed anyone else Daz?

Yes, Zakaria El Ouahdi for €10M on a 5yr deal.

No one, other than Dazza, is aware of this and he’s yet to be spotted at Copers Cope Road or the Sainsbury’s car park, even though we signed him 18 days ago!
