Shyte Sequels to good movies

Home Alone 3 and 4 were absolute abominations compared to the first two.

The 3rd and 4th Hunger Games films took a decent book (and an entertaining franchise) and turned them into hours of absolutely tedious films. Perhaps if they'd only made one film from the final book it would've been better.

Halloween 3 : what the hell was that all about ? No relevance at all to the previous two filums

Agree, Halloween 3 completely unrelated to the previous movies in any way, not even a slasher movie. But I have always had a soft spot for that movie, though it probably wasn't very good.

As another has mentioned, The Exorcist.

The first was a masterpiece and set the template for future horrors.

The second (directed by John Boorman, no less) was so bad it caused riots.
