Semi Final Match Thread

I find it odd that all the highlight videos on YouTube don't seem to show Mateta's disallowed goal. I'm not a conspiracist, but it does make you wonder. Thankfully it didn't matter in the end but it really was a terrible decision.

He's done a hamstring. Could be out for the rest of the season apparently.
I doubt that, rumour has it, there was a 'disagreement'. Who really knows.

Anyhoo, still buzzin, went into my local lunchtime(mainly Chelsea), got congrats off a few & grief of a small few, my answer was, we are in the final, you ain't & if things go well & we win cup, we could deny you Europe. They didn't like that, shame.

As I type, City now 2-0 up.

Who knows (or cares now we've beaten them) it could be a cover story for why they don't want to spend
£40 m on him.
Unhappy Chelsea supporters? They haven't been happy since Osgood broke his leg.

Looks like we'll be meeting City in the final
Forest had injuries to key players for this game and it's unbalanced them.

I don't know whether to compensate for this, but Nuno left out the speedy Elanga, shifted Hudson Odoi to his less effective right and left Wood isolated.
This defensive approach left them exposed after conceding an early goal and they struggled in the first half.
In fairness they've had a go in the second half and hit the woodwork 3 times and missed a few chances.

I'm not sure that the game has been instructive to us for the final, but I think we need to attack more than Forest did in the first half to give City something to think about.

Millwall didn't play a PL side until the final, they lost 4-0 to the Manure and didn't have a shot on goal. They should be ashamed of themselves.

In both our finals we have had a go and the players gave the fans something to be proud of. I fully expect us to have a go at City win or lose.
