It does not matter if the club gets the players the fans want and manager picks the team the fans want. The same fans will still complain if the results suck. Nothing wrong with complaining, but give the team time. In our FA cup winning season Glasner had only 3 points after 8 games.

Sure. Sacking managers looking for one with the Midas touch very rarely works as Man United, Tottenham and others have found out after having spent hundreds of millions.

Must be true it was in the mail , they have never given false storys or exexaggerate the story to sell 🤔dont let the truth get in the way of a good story
 
With three potential defeats over the course of the next games,Leeds,Forest and Brighton,difficult to see how Sage ,will not be relieved of his duties and a proven relegation fighter installed with the brief to keep us up at all costs,given rumours of unrest among senior players.

If he gets 6 points from those 3 games then we could have one hell of a manager on our hands

Only interested in doing well in Europe and the cups this season. Europe most likely success as you can lose the odd game (even in the knockout stage) until the final. All we have to do in the league is get roughly a point per game. We will get less chaotic as the season progresses. Palace are in not much of a different a position to United, Spurs, Bournemouth, Fulham, Villa and Sunderland. Palace are not unique in having a scruffy start. Ipswich was the only bad result and we only had 10 men. The other game's results went as expected. I would be happy with 4 points in the next 3 games.
 
Sage has had a lot of issues to deal with in his short time here. Primarily, important players being unavailable and new players bedding in.
His heavy disciplining of players is concerning, but there is no way he should be sacked unless we continue to concede too many goals and fail to achieve a one point a game average. We are still not in the bottom 3 but every time we lose to a side like Ipswich we have to compensate with a result against someone in the top half.

We must revisit the question after 10 games, but it will be tough going until the international break, so I expect we will be struggling along until then. If Sarr and Mateta can give us something after that until Christmas we should be alright until the next window. The fixtures look harder every year and finding modest priced players that can keep us mid table is difficult. The only thing that changes that is maybe winning the Europa League. That seems unlikely.

The other thing we must do is stop signing over priced rejects on high wages from bigger clubs. Nketiah, Johnson... Ridiculous signings.
