In your opinion.
I hope sage does well but i do think he is under a lot of pressure already and if squad are unhappy, similar to when de boer was here, then parish will know about it.

I've seen the latest presser. The fact is the story about Parish being unhappy came out a day before the Sage's response in the latest presser. Question: where did the "journalist" get the original story from? It wasn't from Sage. Sage refutes the story in the presser. Frankly, who is s*** stirring and what purpose does it serve?
How can he refute it when he says that Parish 'understood the decision' after the reasons were explained?'
If it was not a story, Sage could have said we never discussed Canvot and there were no need to explain my reasons as it never cropped up.
Sage explicitl says he gave his reasons for omitting Sage and it seems Parish has accepted them.
There would be no reason to give these reasons if the subject of Canvot hadn't cropped up.
End of story (hopefully).

We’ve all seen this show before. A new manager, under pressure and with his team being a bit of a shambles is always going to attract these sorts of stories. Especially when he drops previous first team players and new signings. I am not saying he was wrong to do so but it’s going to attract this sort of story.

From the outside looking in I like the way he is doing things his own way and I like how he has the courage of his convictions.
I do not think we are that far off being a very tasty attacking team but where we are lacking (getting bypassed in the middle third way too easily, defenders pulled out of position and making individual mistakes) is killing us results wise.
Fix these these issues and I think we'll have an exciting season.

This Canvot thing is typical hyperbolic click bait bullshit. I'm sure Parish chats to any manager about how things are going, weekly update, that sort of thing. Oh, you've left Canvot out altogether? What's that about? Anything I need to know? No? Cool.
Perhaps Sage is used to, or used to anticipating, club owners who seek to influence selections, and that came out in his press conference. However, if Parish was one of those I think we'd know by now.
Plus, as a player Canvot has got a very, very long way to go before he's even a reliable premier league player, let alone a valuable asset. I am one of many on here who feels the club has put together a deeper squad but a weaker team. One positive of that is competition for places. I think it's quite smart of Sage to punish individual underperformance in that way, it's about as good a use of a bloated but average squad as a manager can make.
Without repeating earlier posts of mine and others, I think the conversation between Sage and Parish that matters is the one about Sage's pressing game.
Look at the table. Clubs with far higher rated managers than Sage have very disjointed looking teams at the moment, but a lot of that is perhaps to do with limited time to work together in preseason, lots of transfer churn, and the various damage done by money in the game. Villa? Spurs? Fulham? Newcastle? Man utd? Bournemouth? I'm sure they'd all like better results, but the question they'll be asking themselves is, are we going about things the right way? Do we believe the coaching methods will bear fruit in time?
That is where Pierre faces doubts. Not leaving a particular player out of a squad.

You said there were no direct quotes and I provided the direct quote from Sage that Canvot was discussed with Parish and that Parish had accepted the reasoning.
You were incorrecr in saying that there's no direct quote.
The main thing as far as I'm concerned is that they appear to be on the same page now which is I'm sure is what we all want.

I thought Pierre looked very subdued in press conference. Glint of humour in his eye was missing. I wish him and the team well. Bullshit around Saar mateta and canvot can’t be helping. Win tomorrow and hard fought draw on Sunday will be just the tonic. COYP!
