Looks like a decent pub Willo. Does it have a Willo Star of approval?'Player Radar' has him approaching the 'Jolly Sailor' so he will arrive in short order.
😀 👍

Aha, that's why Newcastle and Man Utd were both after Dougie.Speak for yourself mate . its embarrassing how long it takes Palace to get a deal done and still manage to Fvck it up ( Ferguson, Franca ) but to name a few . when other clubs can get it all done in 3 days . As for moaning you do enough of it yourself. Expert on everything after the fact .

Also Andy Roberts & Darren Ward "The Peckham Beckham".To be fair, we’ve signed some decent players off Millwall over the years, although I can only think of Derek Possee, Chris Armstrong and Matty Lawrence at the moment, but I’m sure there’s more
Firstly, you named two so that can't be a few.Speak for yourself mate . its embarrassing how long it takes Palace to get a deal done and still manage to Fvck it up ( Ferguson, Franca ) but to name a few . when other clubs can get it all done in 3 days . It'll be like when McNamara and McNamee were playing doubles together. It's Esse to Eze....a commentators nightmare!
A few is more than 1 & less than 5. Your pedantic reply was used in the wrong context. You may be a newbie, but . . .Firstly, you named two so that can't be a few.
Secondly, what transfers have been done in a few (used correctly) days that you are privy to? I'm not convinced you know what goes on in the background for any signing at any club.
🤣Too busy looking for lost lego pieces, bless🤣A few is more than 1 & less than 5. Your pedantic reply was used in the wrong context. You may be a newbie, but . . .
It'll be like Big Daddy all over again. It's Esse to Eze....a commentators nightmare!
Was his real name Shirley Crabtree ?It'll be like Big Daddy all over again.
It was. And Giant Haystacks was called Martin Ruane but Shirley and Martin are after you doesn't sound too bad.Was his real name Shirley Crabtree ?
Someone on here the other day said that Palace should just pay the asking price for players instead of negotiating.Speak for yourself mate . its embarrassing how long it takes Palace to get a deal done and still manage to Fvck it up ( Ferguson, Franca ) but to name a few . when other clubs can get it all done in 3 days . Don't know why we can't just trust the club when it comes to the nuts and bolts of deals like this. They know what they're doingSomeone on here the other day said that Palace should just pay the asking price for players instead of negotiating.
That way lies financial ruin for a club such as ours. We aren’t Chelsea buying Brighton players.
In Esse’s case we have overpaid on his release clause to get the deal done. A deal held up outside of our clubs control unless you also think that Palace cave in to any financial demands.
Your “ fcuk up “ examples are risible - we got the deals done and then the players unfortunately have medical issues. I’m sure you would be moaning if those players had been bought by other clubs and their careers turned out differently.
Franca could of course still turn out to be good buy - although that’s an optimistic viewpoint
I was taught to a few is threeA few is more than 1 & less than 5. Your pedantic reply was used in the wrong context. You may be a newbie, but . . .
Probably because we've been kicked in the bolts before.Don't know why we can't just trust the club when it comes to the nuts and bolts of deals like this. They know what they're doing
That's fine. When I was in the Royal Navy, it was more than 1, less than 5. Each to there own.I was taught to a few is three
McArthur to McCarthy didnt bother them. It's Esse to Eze....a commentators nightmare!
