Review of the season so far!

All part of the boards master plan, get relegated before they get called out over the new stand, I can't believe so many people fell for it. We will be back in the championship and what was it all for ? Over the last 10 years 90% of the time it's been mediocre to poor football, American owners who have no interest at all. Oh yeah we will reap the rewards of the great academy, that's been heavily funded, don't make me laugh, we've not produced a decent player since zaha, the only reason Mitchell is a prem player is because the club have never bothered to buy another lb. I'll be surprised if Glasner doesn't walk first. After years of showing no ambition it's about time we got relegated, we just make up the numbers now anyway.
A very cunning plan from the board to lose £150m a year income and devalue their stake in the club.

I am a "glass half full" guy, I have always approached every game (for the past 10 years) as we could win it, except yesterday, when I thought a draw would be an acceptable result. Having seen that awful performance yesterday, despite the injuries, and looking at our squad, I don't think I can maintain that posture. Going forward we are more likely to loose each game, by January we will be in the bottom 2, and because of our position we will be unable to attract any quality forward players that can make a difference. They will replace the manager then, but this time it will not work and we will end up relegated. Normally I am an optimist, but I am also a realist; I hope I am wrong, but for the first time I am sensing impending doom.

Well when you're a majority shareholder who has minority say, you're not selling at this price anyway, so a very good plan.
Textor wants a huge return on his investment. The price is probably going down daily now. It's not suiting him - I presume that's who you mean. Optimistically, looking at this, we might get someone pumping in some money in January if he can sell his shares.

But surely a better plan is to not get relegated and not build the stand anyway. It’s not like the board can be forced to build it. I am absolutely certain the last thing Parish et al want is to go down

Or they could have built it already and increased the value of the club and annual turnover, instead of selling the 2k general tickets we have got to tout sites who sell them onto tourists. The club is a joke.

If we do go down, 11 years in the Prem and not having built the stand - after Parish consistently saying the only way to establish the club would be with a bigger ground - is indeed a joke. What a sh1te season this is turning out to be.

Straight talking. We've just made up the numbers as you mention, it's the way the EPL works. We've done our time, and due to the ineptitude of the board it's time to leave.

Look I like parish, he genuinely wants whats best for the club, if we were to end up in league 1, would dougie be here ? No, would the Americans ? No, I've no doubt parish would, and probably spending his own money keeping the club afloat. But let's face it, parish doesn't have the money to be competitive in the prem. The Americans ain't interested and we are where we are because of a lack of investment over the years, constantly doing it on the cheap with owners who have no real ambition.

Are Brighton as successful as they are because they've been lucky to unearth a gem in their last 3 managerial appointments, no, most managers could do a decent job there, because it's a well run club, with an owner willing to invest. The same now for a lot of clubs, Fulham, Newcastle, forest, West ham, Everton etc the only reason wolves are where they are is because their owners were far more ambitious than FFP allowed them to be.

You can blame Glasner all you want, of course, he's the manager, he's part of the problem but the biggest issue is the owners.

Surely we will be in relegation zone by Christmas with 5 games against top 6/8 teams coming up plus a tricky away game in Ipswich. I cannot see us having more than 8 or 9 poins after this.

The games between Christmas looks much better and may take us to 12 - 13 p halfway through the season.

But we will still need to double that figure in the second half of the season to stay up - with seems totally unrealistic.

Maybe it's a cunning plan not to lose players in the January window?

Our more winnable home games come after the Chelsea game at beginning of January.

And I think we have a break clause in JRS loan agreement so we can bring him back in Jan if we wish (maybe we could send DK the other way?)
