Relegation battle 25-26

Brighton defence in a generous mood with the second goal, although to be fair to Spurs once they were gifted the ball it was a worldie.

I'm not particularly bothered who goes down, out of Spammers and Spuds. However, watching the protracted torture of both sets of fans, gives me much added hilarity.
Spuds fans normally leave early, but I'm hoping as many as possible stayed until the end 😀

I'm not old enough to remember that but for some reason I'm still not totally relaxed about relegation. I know it's unlikely and I probably should be looking up the table but can't yet for some reason...
Perhaps because we still have to play Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and what I think is our bogey team, Everton (Willo will perhaps confirm that last bit - or not).

I think some have never shaken off the Oldham season 33 years ago🤣 and only palace could go down 4th off bottom with 49 points, it does leave scars 🤣
I still get nightmares of Joe Royle dressed as a clown laughing at me as I stand naked on The Holmesdale crying.

It's perfectly poised to give Wet Sham and Spuds fans equal amounts of fear. Keep it poised like that until the last 3 minutes of the final day.
Hopefully spuds will drop 😀
The financial implications for Spuds would be massive. Their accountancy systems exposed, and Levvy jumping would show he knew what was coming.
I know spuds fans have already had reminders in the past week about renewing their ST's - at full price for next season. The club are already scrambling for cash, because they know what is almost certainly coming their way

I don't like either Spurs or West Ham so either going down is fine by me.

Happy with the result last night, not the performance. Still it means another turn of the "rack" for both sets of fans as the torture continues. 🙂

I don't want to help any other club I just want us to spoil the party, at either end of the table.

Tottenham, West Ham and Nottm Forest all have 5 PL games remaining.
The number of points attained by these teams in their last 5 PL games is as follows :
Nottm Forest 9, W.Ham 8, Tottenham 2.

Yes at least these days we can play crap and scrape a point, even in our poor winless run in dec, Jan and feb.
In the past we might have lost last night 0-1
As big Sam used to say respect the point

yes but Spurs seem to have recruited a manager who actually knows his job. Notwithstanding their donkey players.

Was just looking at our record vs wolves in recent years...

In the last 11 games 1 loss, 1 draw and 9 wins.

Will certainly be a shame to loose those 6 points every season 😅 we must have been a bit of a bogey team for them.
