Also. Any figures regarding non boat arrivals refer to people they have caught. It could mean that they have got worse at catching people.

You make it sound like everything is OK which of course you would do.
The fact is that this government threw out an opportunity to try a third country option and allowed the situation to approach crisis point. They are speeding up the processing of illegals by allowing almost all of them to stay. It is nothing short of scandalous.
This is all happening because they don’t have the backing of half the party for taking the necessary action. The only way to stop this catastrophe is to get rid of them and replace them with someone with the political will to do what needs to be done.
