You are right to, I have two pre-teen boys myself and also fear for their future.
Even if we ignore the whole political aspects of the future...the unrealistic pseudo communism of the young and the selfish boomerism of the old.....the age realities of the future mean that it's robotics or bust.....Well, it'll be bust until the transition to robotics and AI that are actually good enough.
What is in it for the youth? The average and below average make up by far the majority....They can't just be offered sh1te poverty with a subscription future.
That's a future filled with its own scary possibilities.

I still fail to see how Reform, following UKIP has progressed much beyond a single-issue, protest party? A one trick pony outfit.
The worrying implications that they 'have big plans' is all this funding coming from dubious sources. They seem to have attracted a bunch of disgruntled and past their sell-by-date Tories to try and give them a veneer of serviceability but if you look what they are doing to councils - they are clearly inept in a field where you just have to learn to breathe through your nose and parse local issues.
Farage is a very able hype-man but well out of his depth as an MP, as the ludicrous deflection of the recent by-election shows. As he continues to be investigated, I can only imagine he will be replaced in next few months.

That is an indication of weakness.
I had no idea Reform were so sensitive, fragile and unable to defend themselves against criticism.
However, regardless of their frailties, by cherry picking only those outlets who like them, that sets a worrying tone for the press control / censorship they will deploy once in power.

The BBC ban took some searching!
But the Declassified one is interesting as it did not pop up on my cursory Wiki search. There was the MoD issue over arms sale to the Saudis - something the government had to back pedal furiously from - but no denial of access to the conference.
Perhaps they have only limited press passes available? Declassified are hardly The Times.
