Reform

Yes but I will vote for the ones who tell lies I like !
Every politician will spin. Those in government sometimes cannot tell the truth and need to tell white lies.

Then there are others who simply say what they think their target audience wants to hear, without any real expectation, or intention, of being able to deliver.

Like fools the gullible still prefer mythical green grass promises to hearing harsh realities.

We are in a mess. Whoever gains power won’t solve it in one Parliament and by the time the next one arrives someone else will be offering the promises.

Are you actually saying you think 2TK believed he could deliver what was in his manifesto and speeches prior to being elected. WASPI, 1.5 million homes, stop the boats for just 3.

Then why put any trust in any of them?

Like I've already said.

I was hearing this fifty years ago.

It hasn't worked, people really tried, it just doesn't work....birds of a feather will defeat it everytime....the vast percent of people who talk like yourself here are whites...You don't hear it much from other groups....kudos to the few that do, but most don't and never will.

What happened instead brought us to where we are now.....We are the grift which keeps on giving. The place where Muslims fill Trafalgar Square in displays that look like domination rituals and our capital cities are now so foreign that even John Cleese....the life long liberal recognises it......Those with foreign cultures are no longer called to integrate, which never worked on a large scale anyway.....Which Dan thinks is fine and dandy and that I'm deluded.

Well, that's cool, I'm not going to carry on flogging a dead horse to you Matt. Restore isn't for you.....You should probably vote Tory or Reform.

Restore isn't going to push comfortable untruths at people.....they have said the future's difficult and that's because it's the truth.
Again I agree with most if this.
Except ,I'm not voting for anyone.

I'm just really disappointed by that restore policy paper.

Listening to Rupert Lowe a few months ago, I liked the guy. I'm not sure he has written all or any of this paper. Obviously he will endorse it.

I'm not sure if this is relevant; but it comes to my mind.

During the Blm protests around "covid time" - at my place of work, all the black people I knew except one (she was an idiot) disagreed with the protests. Plus like you and me, they were generally against the covid restrictions and forced jabs. More than the whites by far. Asians not so much on the covid stuff.

I guess what I'm trying to say, is we can learn more from each other than what politicians are telling us.

So how many black people went and told the blm protesters they were wrong. Anyone white got nicked, cancelled or told they were racist bigots. Remember the Burnley fan who lost everything with his white lives matter banner !!!

I'm just talking about the black people I meet.
I can't talk for everyone else.
Maybe those people at my place of work did push back with friends and relatives, I dunno.

I guess the amount of protesters that went, are only a small fraction of the population. Non compliance in not protesting is also a strong statement .

In fact many white people were at those protests.

You’ve basically been told there’s no room for nuance or the realities of mixed race relationships in the brave new world apparently.

We seem quite different in our political views but aligned in our personal ones.

By some maybe. Life's short and I want to get along with everyone that doesn't wish me harm. Pretty straightforward I think.

I have never really had any problems from anyone, being in a relationship with a black lady. Maybe it's because I'm confident in myself or its just Ghanaians like white people. Lol

I'm married to a Ghanaian lady for the record. Something I often bring up. Lol

I think your original message of mixed relationships may have meant my friends at work. Being 55 and from Croydon I've grown up with lots of people.

It really is that very simple. 99% of us are the same. Don’t let anyone make you think otherwise.

Agreed. And most fears are completely irrational and unsubstantiated.
I dunno mate. I can't talk for everyone else.

Everyone has their own life experiences.

The trouble with this palace forum is it all gets very catty when people disagree. It is possible to have a nice conversation disagree. Lol
