What has happened to Nigel Farage - we are in the middle of a global crisis caused by this war and he is nowhere to be seen or heard. What is his view on the war and what the UK should do - how far should the UK support Trump.
What's going on Nigel?
He has been busy campaigning for the upcoming elections, his views are clear. Our military assets are no longer fit for purpose and we should let our allies use bases.

He's on TV almost every day.

What are you talking about?

Like most surveys the answers are often contradictory.

95% of Greens are happy to have Jewish friends*. Except that only 15% of Greens want to spend time with Jews who support Israel and 71% of Greens think they are Nazis.

*My observation. A bit like a racist saying I don't have a problem with black people but....
Do we expect people to be honest with sensitive questions?

He is actually keeping quite a low profile (for him) given the hard work he has done to become a Trump patsy.

That association right now is self harming.

I am not remotely surprised by that contradiction.

The right (i.e., nationalists) have traditionally been antisemites. Nothing has changed.

The only shift is they have been replaced as the number one enemy by brown / Islam.

Israel is seen to be attacking the true enemy.

The enemy of my enemy...

I wouldn't say nationalists are antisemitic as such, but it's certainly true that a percent are.

Because as the stats show the highest number of pro Israel is also amongst the nationalists.

Internationalists or in other words the modern day left certainly have their share as well.

But the highest number is within the 'progressives'.

Also the question is what actually is anti semitism because it's like the term racism or referring something to Hitler, it's become a politicized term rather than a descriptive one. As with racism there is a lack of nuance..... and that lack of nuance is deliberate.

Where’s the contradiction? That’s how I feel! I have no issues at all with anyone holding the Jewish faith (or Christian or Islam). I only have issues with behaviour. Thus I disagree with the Israeli government of Netanyahu and think some of their Ministers have Nazi like attitudes.

We need to stop thinking “all Jews good, all Muslims bad” and start judging people by what they do. Not what faith they share.
