Reform

'They have given nothing useful and only hurt the right in the country'.

Mutually exclusive.

🙂

Oh come on.

You love us really! Well ok, maybe exchange the word 'love' for dislike.
(which is why your interest in the England cricket team's fortunes confuse me)

As you hate the country (well, the people in it) you'd probably feel at home in Pakistan.

Maybe Reform will be the holiday of a lifetime Steely?

Well he does identify as a muslim, he should apply for Pakistani passport

Pathetic news story of the week is that Nigel Farage made racist comments when he was a schoolboy (13yo). These claims coming from a lefty film director in the Independent and Guardian.

Starmer predictably has demanded an explanation from Farage who equally predictably denies it.

It's not even news, when I was 13 I must have said some terrible things about people which I never meant and did it just for attention. Chances are that Farage probably did say them. I would ask the lefty film director so you never said anything inappropriate yourself? Never said how you would like to give some, one?

This was the 1970's the era of the Black White Minstrel show (BBC) Love Thy neighbour and Benny Hill (ITV) casual racism and sexism was the norm.

Why on earth Starmer is getting involved it's just stupid, best thing to do is ignore it because guess what's coming next?. I expect the Daily Mail is busy contacting all of Starmer's old school chums or any school chums of the Labour Front bench.

It's a no win story. Even the current Pope has said stuff when he was younger that I am sure he regrets.

So far the BBC has not made a big deal of it which for once is the right thing to do. They will look pretty silly if they do when people point out what was going on at the beeb back then.

Like some bloke remembers exact words from Farage fifty years ago.

An obvious liar.

It's so pathetic.

No one who follows politics will be surprised by this type of nonsense. These sorts of stories are aimed at people who read tabloid level stories and decide who to vote for on a whim.

Farage has the three main political parties, the Greens and the majority of the visual media against him, although Labour policy actually seems to be making it easier for him.

He basically has GB News and the stark reality of Britain in 2025 on his side.

If you have to look back all the time to find fault then eventually you are going to trip over whilst trying to move forward.
Starmer is an idiot who has to hide behind an alleged super injunction to protect his wrongdoing(s)...

You don’t think that just because the Mail and the Telegraph don’t yet openly support him he doesn’t gain support from those on the right who read them?

You are of course right to suggest nothing that any schoolboy said should be held against them as an adult. Or precisely remembered. Nobody of that age has reached maturity and holds well rounded ideas, formed by experience.

That said, Farage continues to hold some pretty immature ideas, which maturity hasn’t improved.

We had a debating society can't remember much of the 'this house believes' subjects, but the same as elsewhere, arguing and countering all kinds of stuff. To be quoted out of context 50 years later is ridiculous.

Unless he's a Steven who decides he should be a Stephanie of course.

What does the UN convention on the rights of the child state?
This?

“The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is an international treaty that establishes the civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights of children under 18. It states that all children have the right to life, survival, and development, and that all decisions affecting them should prioritize their best interests. It also guarantees rights to protection from violence, abuse, and neglect, as well as rights to education, healthcare, and participation in decisions that affect them.“

Participation not meaning they take them.

You're not being selective? Come on Wisbech.
It clearly states they have the right to be heard and for their choices to be taken seriously regardless of their age.

And I suppose none of them laughed at jim Davidson back then .
Starmer is a bell end and will get this back ten fold. Super injunction I reckon once it’s found. 4 years to go and they’re bricking it 😂😂😂

You're on to something here. We should really have Jim Davidson's entire audience given equality training. Perhaps refer the most stalwart ones to Prevent. Are you reading this Lisa Nandy?
