Reform

You have missed my point,Badanoch and Farage are kicking lumps out of one another, minimally a bad look,it might even turn voters off voting for them.Whilst Starmer shines.
'Whilst Starmer shines'?

Shoe shines?

Or are you referring to the glaring and continual mistakes?

It is straight forward common sense, whilst your opponents bicker( on any subject) the Incumbent looks like an island of sanity within a sea of madness.Any politician will tell you that whatever the political hue.Farage and Badenoch the odd couple.

That was taken from the BBc.Tell them fruitcake.
That isn't really accurate though is it. You only took the first line from the BBC headline then you added a comma, before the rest of it being your commentary. Your section being the place with the rather embarrassing English.

Isn't it more true that the reason you felt you needed to be dishonest about it certainly suggests you contain more raisins than me lad.

An island of sanity?

If we could all shove the left on one to yourselves, you'd be eating each other within the week.

First of all you accuse me of missing out commas and then of adding them, do everyone a favour and give your head a shake.Your last two contributions are inane, or are you the remaining chuckle brother.

Yes, I am the remaining chuckle brother.

Now forgive me, as I have to leave the keyboard to move some heavy furniture, just 'to me' this time.

I agree with the first part but to call Starmer/Labour an island of sanity just destroys any semblance of credibility you may have. Within a year the in fighting at Labour HQ will be off the scale imo. Starmer will be whimpering in the corner of Lord Ali’s flat ( euphemism?). Whilst Unions will be enjoying ever more pay rises for less productivity.
Do I think the Tories deserved to be annihilated, absolutely. Did I want this shower of shite? Absolutely not but in a democracy you have to suck it up but I have stocked up with 2025 popcorn

This Tory v Reform blood-letting has to happen and be gotten out of the way. There is some chatter about a potential mass defection of sitting Tory MP's going to Reform which throws up some interesting questions about what then happens in terms of the official opposition.

My predictions are a link/stitch up between the Tories and Reform with Kemi out of a job potentially by the end of the year (May's local elections will be interesting on a multiple of levels).

Seems odd to me that Kemi has chosen this membership issue to make a stand on. A strange battle to fight given all the energy on the centre Right is towards Reform. String of good by-election, albeit at a council level, results and generally still an anti-Tory sentiment amongst many people who would have traditionally voted for them no matter what.

But we will see.

Meanwhile we have the unedifying spectacle of Bad as ever and Farage kicking lumps out of each other.

It needs to happen. Better to get it done and dusted now with over 4 years plus before the next GE. I get why Starmer Soy-Boys might relish the spate because it takes the heat off them for a while but this is the definition of a silly season for politics.

Bloody hell, most people struggle to know what day of the week it is at this time of the year, let alone get overly infested in some daft slanging match.

Kemi will not be featuring in the next GE. Farage may well be. This is just froth.

That is quite some list and basically absolutely spot on.

The sooner they get in the better…before it’s too late!
They have missed out a few things though, of the kind Trump glories in.

They could promise to end all UK involvement in foreign wars and end the one in Ukraine the day after the election.

They could promise every tax payer a tax free holiday for the first year after getting in.

They could promise to raise the state pension by 50% and stop it being taxed.

None of those are anymore unrealistic of most of the others.

This is not a realistic agenda with the slightest hope of ever happening. It’s uncosted but looks completely unaffordable and impractical.

This is simply a wish list offered as bait to the gullible. If many of the Reform voters were fish they would be covered in batter by now.

Of course it’s uncosted and unaffordable!…But when has that ever stopped Labour (I’m thinking particularly of the 2017 Corbyn campaign)

We aren’t taken in by it or gullible but the fundamental principles are there and the policies. At least some of them would be a start and better than where we are currently heading.

You talk of fish but if anyone has taken the bait on this thread it’s you! Hook, line & sinker! 🤣

Is this really where we are now? Invent some random situations and then complain that they're not going to happen.

But that's not what you said is it. You said "spot on" Mr. gullible.
