Reform

This one won’t!

I may well vote tactically but it will be to keep Reform out, not put them in.

My younger daughter, whose interest in politics has always been slight, said last week that whilst she liked some of Reform’s “ideas” (being quite naive about their deliverability) she could never vote for “that slimy git Farage”. I suspect she isn’t that untypical!
Yes! Coutts and Co got rid of him. An odious little toad. He has one policy and changes it frequently.

I'm not sure who your daughter should vote for if she considers politics to be a beauty contest...
She is obviously as astute as her father.

One brain cell between them.

However much they bleat and try to tarnish Farage, Labour know that their term is just the one, having failed to convince the public that they are in any way competent. Look for more copying of Reform policies by Labour before 2029, but the public won't be hood-winked by the same old tax and spend Labour.

Reform are a very unusual political Party
Prospective Premier ; Nigel Farago
Prospective Chancellor; Nigel Farago
Prospective Home Secretary;Nigel Farago
Prospective Housing Secretary ; Nigel Farago
Prospective Foreign Secretary;None (we hate johnnie Foreigner)
Prospective Trade Minister None (we don't trade with Johnnie Foreigner)

Nice to know Reform is such a multi talented Party with such a vibrant Democratic base.

Underpants on head, pencils up the nose and say wibble

A former Conservative councillor who defected to Reform UK has said the party has allowed too many Tory “rejects” to join.

Jim O’Neill, leader of the Reform group in Blackpool Council, said the party “starting to feel like the Tories 2.0... but only excepting their rejects” in a now-deleted social media post.

Mr O’Neill, who joined Reform after former leader Richard Tice took over in 2021, said the party “may be morphing into something I didn’t sign up for”, as reported by the BBC.

Everyone entitled to their opinion

Don't worry they will be importing votes between now and 2029.

The sole reason for Labour was not Tory.
Sole? Doubtful. Major, for sure.

Whether wholly justified is also doubtful.

The mega mistake for the Tories was Cameron deciding to eliminate UKIP by calling the Brexit referendum.

That not only will result in sinking the Tory ship but has put a huge hole in the UK itself.

Unforgivable for many.

But we elect these politicians to take these decisions for us and they took the decision to hold the referendum. Case closed.

Many will face that dilemma. If you listen to why people choose who they will vote for it’s often not very reassuring.
Yes, I know. My vote in the election was granted to the person who has their moat cleaned by the same company that I use for cleaning my moat...it's a much easier method than wading through those leaflets that get left on the other side of the drawbridge...
