Yes, but I don't think Sky paid much for games that were moved to the Sunday 2.00pm slot by reason of clubs having European games on a Thursday night.

I think I remember someone posting an interview with an FFP expert who said we were well placed to spend more than I expected, so perhaps that's where it comes from. Mind you, he might have been talking about how much debt we could go into, in terms of an FFP cycle or something, rather than how much we actually had in the bank.

But since we are subject to the stricter UEFA 70% SCR, I doubt we'll have the debt/overspend option available under the new PL 85% SCR..

Yes, Willo, I know that. Unfortunately, my sleepy finger last night didn't bother to reach all the way to the 7. My wide-awake finger has edited the error this morning.
