Rating the window

That's the problem. Franca is no Olise.

The club will be under financial pressure in paying for this new stand upgrade. I suspect that how much money we have to spend on players will depend on how much our shareholders will contribute to the build.

but he was never supposed to be.

But Sarr has done pretty well. You could say we've bought Sarr and Franca with the Olise money and still have 20m left over. Thats has to be good business in everyones book.

If we dont sell MG this summer, I can see the logic to not spends any more money. We'll know that we have a big player to replace next summer so will need to save the cash and PSR.

It would, IMO, wait for the outcome of the Europa league decision on Aug 11th, the window doesn't close until 1st September 2025, the outcome will make a massive influence on who decides to stay, with Guehi it has to be contract extension or leave, and also the quality that we can attract, so wait for 11th until major decisions are made, then we can access the window then.

It wont make any difference.

People have this conception that Europa and Conf are such a big difference they really are not it's the Champions League that is the one which attracts players not the other 2.

I think Palace should just go win Conf and be done with it they are wasting way to much time/effort/money on this cause (SP messed up at the end of the day.)

Guehi is not going to extend his contract he would have done so already if he was going to we need to hope someone comes in for him and we get some cash for him.

interesting to see Ahamada play at wing back v Crawley - could work attacking wise, he has pace and can carry the ball, I was up at Wolves the season b4 last and he replaced Hughes and turned the game for us linking attack and defence which had been hitherto disjointed - it's at wing back and defence where we really need to strengthen for Europe, but with him and Sosa this could save us looking elsewhere for back-up wing backs

Agreed, if he ever is going to be decent, i think RWB is it.

We also seem to use Devenny at wing back sometimes.
