That's how my drinking went.
Twenty million pints.
It just felt it cost that much.

Sure, he could be under-rated or over-rated.
For me, twenty million is taking the p1ss just to find out.
But hey, in today's market, twenty million seems to be the new ten.

Long tab.Twenty million pints.

The jeopardy is genuinely mental.
If he has a good season for us he'll be worth £50m
If he has a bad season he'll be loaned out and we may struggle to get rid at all.

That stuff should be available due to our analysts. That's the type of data we have for transfers these days. Brighton have done a lot of work on stats and analytics. Obviously the anal part was perhaps a bit stretched. You really need to know what you're looking at and how one league differs from another.
Glad it isn't my job.....A couple of bad decisions and you're relegated.
He looks talented to me, but he's physically huge and I'd want to study stuff like acceleration and turning speed.

He won't reply to someone who pulls him up on his rudeness, its what he always posts to someone who he doesn't agree with. Why was it a stupid comment. I was making a point about dismissing based purely on one fact of number of games played
If everyone just commented "don't know" to every question on here, we'd all soon leave.YouTube is a wonderful thing, scouts are a thing of the past 🤣

No proper, professionally set up club should be using YouTube highlights to scout players. They should use Football Manager game stats, much more reliable.YouTube is a wonderful thing, scouts are a thing of the past 🤣

Apparently there are genuinely clubs that use it. And Todd Boehly. Look at his early transfers, look at the stats on FM24 and then look at the players on the pitch. Actually quite hilarious. No proper, professionally set up club should be using YouTube highlights to scout players. They should use Football Manager game stats, much more reliable.

I thought FIFA 26 was more reliable . Shows you all the moves a player can make …No proper, professionally set up club should be using YouTube highlights to scout players. They should use Football Manager game stats, much more reliable.

Oh, I dunnoIf everyone just commented "don't know" to every question on here, we'd all soon leave.
It would be honest, sure, but also boring and pointless.

Uh , MaybeOh, I dunno
Well one of our owners owns the New York Jets and apparently they rejected a player because the owner’s son didn’t think he had good enough stats in a computer game.Apparently there are genuinely clubs that use it. Is it because you're from Saturn and it takes a while before televised games reach the central solar system? 🙁There are professional clubs that use the database, absolutely - Everton signed some sort of deal in 2008 specifically relating to access to the database.
Sports Interactive (makers of FM) have an enormous global reach with hundreds of 'researchers' based all over the world watching games and then reporting on the players - there are not many other places you can compare reports on that many players from all over the world.
Obviously no one is just signing Player A because he has 15 Finishing on FM, but they'd use the database to try and identify say "a left-footed centre half, aged between 19-23, at least 6ft3 and not currently playing in a Top 5 league". You would then obviously need to go and scout and properly analyse the options from there.
I once applied to be Palace's 'FM Researcher' but was unfortunately unsuccessful!
He's just got word that Pulis is stepping down immediately before the first game of the season...Is it because you're from Saturn and it takes a while before televised games reach the central solar system? 🙁

Don't knowWhat has happened with this?
He was at the training ground a week or so ago, apparently agreed terms and was pictured in a Palace shirt ( possibly AI generated).
If he's joining ,surely it would be better to get him involved asap with pre season training and getting to know his teammates.
Perhaps we're not pursuing it after all.
