Trump claimed he had solid evidence it was created in a lab in China yet proved 0 evidence to prove anything.

The US is anti China & Trump is a racist they are making up a lot of nonsense.

I hope absolutely nothing comes back, not a cent. The private workers will not benefit with tax breaks or NI reductions, rebates or anything. All that will happen is 2TK and his motley crew will gloat and then spend it on the state wage, a s*** load of vanity projects and other not very popular things to increase his voting base

Wrongful or fraudulent trading rules mean administrators have a lot of power these days

I completely agree that these people should be prosecuted or, at the very least, pay the money back
However, I'm not fooled into forgetting about the 700k and likely more in Labour bribes - as the government hoped the timing of this would achieve.
 
I take no political sides. Anyone caught gaining personally from the Fast-Track scheme where they provided sub-standard goods should be prosecuted. This case centred around the supplies not being certified as being fit for use. Therefore useless. And a breach of contract.

Mone knew the supplies weren't certified, and somehow still got paid, in spite of this being discovered by the Gov Department taking delivery of them.
If I took delivery of faulty stock at work, they would immediately be returned to the supplier and the invoice would not be paid.

i hope all the dodgy Government and Opposition MP's are brought to book. Unfortunately, Like Mone and her husband, they have already tried to put their profits beyond reach of the law.

In your opinion.

I am all in favour of recovering as much fraudulently obtained financial gain whether by fake companies or wrongful supply contracts as possible.

True, but one is direct subversion of the political process. This isn't. It's corruption but not affecting any elections. The Labour donations scandals could even potentially trigger a re-election - and they know it. How would that go? Starmer wouldn't win the safest seat in the country.

Summary, including Adminstrator news.

"The judge ruled the company must pay £121,999,219 in damages, plus interest, however, it remains unclear how Medpro will pay the fee, with the company appointing administrators the day before the court decision.

Its last set of accounts said it only had £666,025 of shareholders' funds.

The court said the firm had until 15 October to pay the damages to the government." (BBC)

Getting the judgement is one thing. Getting the money is going to be very difficult. Mone and her husband saw this coming, which is why they called in an Administrator.
And there are others of all political colours, who raced to put their snout in the trough of the Fast-track COVID contracts fiasco. Hundreds £millions (and probably much more)went missing through failed delivery
