Palace Summer 2026 transfers?

Mild cheese.

I mean....what's the point?

It bends more than strong cheese.....which I regard as proof of it's inherent moral weakness.

When it's in your mouth it just exists without really expressing anything.....like some guy at work who was always there but you never spoke to.

Agreed but still preferable to that chemical plant effluent that came in triangles.

Saarrrggeee is going to play 3-4-2-1, so IMO, we need a LB/LWB who is more attack minded, Mitchell as an excellent LB but not an excellent LWB, maybe El Hadji Malick Diouf, who is a LWB, but played as a LB mostly for West ham, which he isn't, sorry to talk about the summer transfers 🤣

Our shortfall lies in midfield, not LWB. Kamada probably going, Hughes and Lerma past it, that leaves just Wharton and Doucoure, who has been out for the best part of 2 years, i doubt will be like the old version.

Not sure if the age/wage profile fits but I always liked Robinson at Fulham who is with the US doing well.

Miles-Skelly at Arsenal was also said to be open to a move and, unlike some incoming Arsenal transfers in recent times, I think that one could be a smart bit of business if the numbers work.

it will be interesting to see ho Ozoh is, improved i assume, ready, not sure, but at the moment we only attack down the right side, rarely anything comes down the left, an attacking LWB would be my priority in that system.

Japan are out now so Kamada should be on the first flight back to sign his new contract.
No excuses either for not being back for the first day of pre season training.
He's still got time for a couple of weeks in Benidorm.

You know what we're like. Almost bound to be gazumped by Forest. They were already our new West Ham. Now even worse.

Some of these "news" stories are quite stupid really. Do they think we are Luton Town or something?

45 million for Sarr, is more than ridiculous, its actually quite insulting. He scores 20 goals, plus his assists and he has a long contract. There is no way we are selling, full stop.

I would argue, he's one of the best attacking players in the Premier League and we're suppose to sell to Everton, who may be interested.

We have a European season coming up, with a new manager, we are an established Premier League team and if all the "reports" are to be believed, we are selling Wharton, Sarr, Lacroix, Mateta, Kamada would be off to who knows where, with possibly Richards and Munoz having their heads turned.

How on earth would we replace any of those players and still hope to improve as a team for what is to come next season. Oh and then there is Oily Glasner, who would want who knows who from his old team.

I never see any of these Journo's say anything positive about Palace EVER, no matter what we achieve. I am beginning to think they see us as some sort of Millwall.

So my conclusion is to look at it all as total B/S and to see what actually happens, once the season starts

A testament to Palace’s (Dougie’s mainly - come back DF!!) transfers in, but I’m tiring of hearing about all the ‘big clubs’ / vultures hovering round our most precious assets : Wharton, Lacroix, Mateta, Hendo, Munoz.. now Saar (ManUre interested?? - yuk!) and Richards added to the list. Sickening to contemplate.

Concerning too that the ‘demanded fees’ allegedly set for our finest are routinely set £20m LESS than their true value, esp when moneybags vultures like ManUre, Chelsea, ManC etc come calling. Man up, Palace - play hard ball and support Sage!!

Of course, no way would we dispose of more than two of the crop (Kamada already out of contract, so probably away to Forest ie wherever Glasner winds up ; J-P probably off, small chance not) in one season, unless we get an absolute nose-bleed, dream price for someone (eg £120+m for Wharton)…

Let’s hope better sense prevails. But DO get Dougie to come home…!!

It seems to have been missed by many on here but a significant signing is that of Joel Drakes Thomas. He has just turned 17 and has signed his first professional contract. He appears to be a really talented winger.
We have lost too many good youngsters in the past lured by the big money youth contracts offered by Chelsea, ManU etc. I believe that his decision has something to do with being given an opportunity to play in competitive matches with the first team. The more we do it before loaning players out the more they see their futures with the Club. It is the model Chelsea have used very successfully for years and brought in millions in loan and transfer fees.
