Maybe they had to put us back in after we appealed to CAS.

I think this is the most likely explanation which is why I’m not getting too excited at this moment.
Do we go straight to CAS? I thought we had to appeal to UEFA before that?
Isn't this just the original web page created at the end of the season showing the teams that qualified and the dated web pages are in fact the up to date standings following any disciplinary proceedings, even if by a couple of days out ?Teams | UEFA Europa League 2025/26

We are appealing a UEFA decision and the court of appeal for this is CAS. I would imagine you notify both parties at the same time.

What has caused the excitement is that the original pages showed Palace in the Europa League, then recently this was changed to Forest and yesterday was changed back to Palace so we are hypothesising on the reason behind that.
It could be argued that by moving us UEFA have pre judged our appeal, I'm guessing that is the reason for changing it back.
