Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

Decision made then to delay decision!

I don’t think they will announce anything until Lyon appeal concluded whenever that is…..doesn’t make sense otherwise.

I suppose we weren't going to do much at the weekend but the delay is worrying. Feels like meddling from somewhere. Lyon and Textor perhaps
As others pointed out to me on here, perhaps the ruling is in our favour and they want to prevent anyone else from being able to appeal it (i.e.: Forest, Lyon)

This continuing delay is going to hack off Glasner. He was annoyed last year because of a delayed pre season. We are likely to have a similar issue unless we have our proposed transfers already lined up. You can virtually guarantee that the purchase plan for playing in the Europa League is different to the one if we get booted out.

If they continue to delay Palace should maybe sue UEFA anyway for business disruption.

Well, if the executives are split, that might help with any appeal. Or it could mean they didn't all get brown envelopes. This has the makings of a Netflix series. Winning the FA Cup, Textor's multi-club ownership, UEFA favouring big clubs over small; the fat Forest villain; Brighton fans getting apoplectic; Palace trying to sign/sell players during the uncertainty; A Trump friend to the rescue (but with misgivings) etc. Of course, the grand finale is us lifting the Europa Cup

UEFA are rightly 5hitting themselves over trying to get it right first time.
It makes me wonder if Keir Starmer is involved somehow? 😀
The longer it drags on, the more confident I am Palace are secure in Europe.

The late decision, is purely to stop other appeals against their ineptly crafted rules.

If there seems to be disagreement amongst UEFA officials, you can bet your bottom dollar Palace, Forest or Brighton will appeal. If so, it will drag on to the detriment of our transfer activity and Glasner's patience. He will have his pick of clubs to go to as well if it comes to that

It doesn’t have to be anything out of the ordinary. A UEFA meeting on a Friday with a lot of business to go through . No knowing how late it might be before it ends. Loads to be recorded and written up. Chances are clerical staff don’t work weekends. Monday should see us knowing what’s happening.
My worry is if the club haven’t already received an unofficial nod of the head ,then there really is something for UEFA to continue to chew on.

Exactly my worry too. I just hope he’s not that fickle.
