If he takes Textors share for only 25% control it means he is not interested in the day to day stuff.

Would be surprised if he has done that unless he see a path to buy out Blitzer and Harris

UEFA really need to sort out the whole multi club issue and give clarity. Moving forwards beyond next season we will still have an issue re Blitzer and Brondby which we need to sort out and box off.

We already have two investors whose net worth is more than his so not 100% sure why money alone is solely your concern. Do you think he will be happy with a 25% say in matters despite a 43% shareholding?

Apparently l'Equipe are saying that Textor has sold his shares to this Woody bloke. No word on whether Buzz or Mr Potato Head are also part of the consortium.

The Guardian report this morning suggests that Harris and Blitzer want out because of the costs of the new stand so Woody might end up with (be planning to purchase) the whole lot in which case if he's wise keep a very skilled chief executive in Parish running things

If that is the plan, then I hope so, although we never get a lot of info on what’s available and to be fair, nor should we as that gives other clubs an idea of what we are likely to fork out.

I agree - he'll already be dealing with Blitzer and Harris in my opinion. Although it may take a little while. Might keep Parish on as a paid employee - but I can see an eventual falling out. Just guesses really.

I don't think he has. I think he wanted more profit than he got. But he still made a profit by my reckoning. I could be wrong.

I think you are right, from the Guardian link above 'he has invested about £180m since buying a 40% stake for almost £90m in August 2021'

So his stake has gone up by £100m in four years as he's sold for around £190m and the £180m he's invested were in loans, not gifts, so some of it has already been paid back and the rest will be over time. Is my view on it anyway.

From what i seem to recall, it was an initial £85m followed later by another £45m. So, £60m profit. Not 100% sure but no doubt someone will verify.

Exactly, Whilst Woody has inherited his wealth, I can't believe he's simply agreed to replace Textor under the same terms. I would not be surprised if he's already sounded out Blitzer and Harris and agreed to buy them out.

What he does re Parish remains to be seen.
