Well, good motivation for Textor to f*** off as soon as possible then isn't it! As usual, Steve Parish completely bang on in his distrust for group ownership.

I think we'll be alright, feel like it's minor enough that we'll find a way round it. If not, hopefully the year of the underdog continues and Reims beat PSG or Lyon get banned from Europe.

Seems to be a storm in a teacup in our case but I assume the Club will check the issue. I remember that RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig both entered the CL some years ago at a time when Salzburg were more or less used as Leipzig's academy. UEFA had an investigation during summer and the clubs had to change a few things before being allowed to enter the CL at the start of the next season. Don't ask me about details but their ties were initially much stronger than ours with Lyon regarding ownership, exchange of players (usually a few during transfer windows between Salzburg and Leipzig), using common facilities and so on.

Palace will not get their Euro place taken away. Textor has no control at Palace and is not the owner. He is only an investor with just 25% voting rights.
That alone should be enough to satisfy Uefa. If not Palace can outvote Textor and make him put some or all of his shares in a blind trust which is what UEFA do generally in these situations.

The Forest chairman did this earlier in the season as UEFA like it done well ahead of time. It may be too late for that tactic but I think the voting % should see them rule in our favour. Might need a bit of grease, though
