Oliver Glasner Press Conferences

Not sure what to think now. I'd mentally written him off after all that had happened. Perhaps he feared recriminations or something. Sunday will be interesting. Hopefully having Sarr and Munoz back will see an improvement on the pitch.

OG played the Presser well. Though it still doesn't justify his actions vs sunderland.
'I say what I feel, and i felt angry' may explain his post match comments, but does not excuse him using no subs, and insulting the 'youngsters' on the bench that day.

what will happen if we're 2-0 down on Chelsea at 60 mins, will he do the same? (although he has Sarr back, so depending who he starts, he'll have Johnson and/or Pino to sub on).

Predictable really, he had his rant of self preservation, I think one thing we all know now is the premier league and its money creates self preserving monsters and a heck of a lot of greed. All good when things are going well but it’s all a bit different when the going gets tough

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner, asked if he regrets his comments after the Sunderland game: "No I don't regret. Do I think it was the best way? No I don't think so but that's Oliver Glasner. I've always told you that's Oliver Glasner.

"It's a part of what we achieved together that I'm emotional. It helps to create spirit, togetherness and belief, sometimes it's not the best possible way but that's me. I don't say I'm perfect, I would like to be. I never attacked anyone personally, I just explained my feelings."


Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner on reports that striker Jean-Philipe Mateta wants to leave: "Very clear. He didn't hand in a transfer request and we have no bid received right now. That's the situation."

Have you spoken with him about it? "I speak with many players about different topics but it's a service I don't tell it publicly."

On needing to replace him if a big bid does come in: "I'll repeat what I said two weeks ago - [for] every player there is a price where a club say okay. Evaluating the whole situation - age, contract, duration and a price where the club says 'okay we agree a deal' but no bid has come in and he hasn't handed in a transfer request and he will play Sunday."

It's for us looking forward and not looking back at what happened, everything is cleared between Steve and me.

"Steve Parish is a great guy, Oliver Glasner is a nice guy and if two nice guys talk to each other in a proper way, there won't be an issue."

"I know the club is very hardworking to do the right things and it's not so easy in finding and replacing a right centre-back we are discussing 'shall we do something else' and we know this but, in this moment it felt like we could do better for the success of the team and Crystal Palace.

"It was a thunderstorm but after a thunderstorm the sun is shining and it started when we started to train again. We had a very great week in training, great spirit and of course it lifted the mood that Munoz and Sarr came back.

"It's all fine."

When you are angry the truth comes out, and "i DONT CARE" will be his epitaph from Palace for me, not that i liked him anyway
 
for me its a positive news conference not negative , yes the week has been hard to swallow but as I said with returning players it always makes people happier from a team prospective , so lets give it all on sunday and hope for a good result , but I do say it looking over my shoulder ,

Im very much on the positive side and did say lets see were we stand after returns and transfer window , but glasner at the time didnt say he was going at the time , so look for positives not the negatives in posting peps

He seems to think they are joint owners, Parish is his boss, he plays the tune and Glasner dances
