Oliver Glasner Press Conferences

He was in the photos that showed the team welcoming Sarr back, so he is at the training ground. The fact is, when everyone is fit and available, Glasner gets results with this squad. With Munoz and Sarr back I have no doubt we'll get back on track, unless we sell anyone else off, especially with the addition of Johnson and possibly one or two more. All he needs to do is apologise to the fans and confirm his commitment to doing his best until the end of the season. If he does that and the team put in a strong performance on Sunday then everyone will move on fairly quickly. When you boil it down, all he really did was let his emotions get the better of him for a weekend. He didn't pull a Dowie or a Pulis.
Give a half arsed apology (the sort your wife gives 3 days later) and put in a shift on Sunday (the real apology) and the whole story is chip wrap.

If he had any class, or even just for the sake of cold expediency, he would apologise today for his outburst last week. He doesn't need to go the full 'insincere politician', just a quick 'It was heat of the moment, I was in the wrong (even if only to air things in public), and I won't do it again. No further questions, back to work'.

That would allow all parties to cooperate beneficially until the end of the season, and also allow the media s***-stirring spotlight to move back to its natural hunting grounds at Spurs, West Ham, Man United etc. The simple act of not falling apart internally whilst others do is a big part of why we stay up with no drama every year. If Glasner can't toe that line then he really will have to go.

The ball is in his court as far as I am concerned.
if he apologises then he looks like a total cuck toeing the party line after a slapdown from the higher ups. He said what he was feeling. And he wasn't really wrong with the gist of what he said. You shouldn't apologise for that, even if it came out badly. Don't expect any more than an acknowledgement of what was said and that he's now looking forward and doing the best with the players he has available, and to show a bit of optimism with the players coming back into the first team.

Journo - "Oliver, you've had a few days to re-evaluate what you said in your previous presser, do you think those words still have relevance?"
OG - "I am here today to talk about the game against Chelsea for which we are fully prepared, and the players are 100% focussed on the game."
Journo - "So you don't feel that you have been let down by the club?"
OG - "We welcome back AFCON winner Ismaila Sarr, who is keen to get back into action."

etc etc
You may be right but he's usually pretty straight forward in his pre match interviews.

No apology and no regrets but states he does care, and an admission he didn’t handle it perfectly or helpfully, though said it could happen again.

Enough for me to get behind him, and there is nothing wrong with passion and honesty but not looking forward to it happening again. I guess he better start winning and Parish needs to find us a signing or two.

Rides in on a Harley Davidson, full leathers, fag drooping out the corner of his mouth.

Shouts into the background "F*** You Parish! I won the f****** FA f****** cup!!:

Blows smoke in the face of the journos and says "What's up bitches?!"

You know...usual thing...

And then as he's walking out of the stadium the main stand crumbles to the floor behind him and he shouts "There's ya f***ing new stand"
